Or people with their own opinion and not a Cowboys fan.

I'll admit Irvin was damn good but he wasnt better than Carter, Brown, Bruce or Holt in my opinion. I'm not sure I put him over Art Monk, James Lofton or Andre Reed either, maybe even but not above.

I respect your opinion though.
i wouldnt have even thought of my man Irvin as a top 5 guy...top 10 yea but not 5

the point i was tryna make is that T.O. is in the top 5 even tho he has all of those dropped passes and that Cris Carter is being foolish with his remarks ...I think you misunderstood my post..oh well..
U gotta think, even though TO had all those dropped passes, he got the ball thrown to him more than any other receive also. I feel u can expect to drop more catches when your'e getting thrown to more.

TO is easily top 10, hell id say top 3. behind Rice and maybe moss. Moss at his best is better than TO, but he has taken not only plays, games, but seasons off. If Moss played hard at all times like TO he might of broken Rice's records.

Moss>>>>>TO

Its not Randy's fault that nobody could stop him from runnin straight down the field in Minnesota. He ran straight past the CB & it worked 9 times outta 10 so thats what the play was. Culpepper threw that sh*t as far as he could & Randy went & got it.

Not to mention that he didnt have a decent QB again until he got to NE...TO went from Jeff Garcia in his prime to Donovan McNabb to Tony Romo

this is why i cant put moss ahead of TO. Alot of people are going off the pure talent that moss has. if moss had the drive like TO he may have been better than rice.

Okay, go make a thread with a poll asking the question and see what people tell you. Very few even questioned Moss' routes into the middle of the field as a Patriot. It all came from the Vikes/Raiders days.

I understand you love Moss and all but open your eyes dude and stop the bias.
I see your trolling for sake of arguement. Which is cool, a lot of people do that on the net for attention. So let me break it down from a football perspective. Being that I played football and actually got paid for it.
From a offensive standpoint, Moss opens up the running game and other recievers with his deep threat ability. He demands coverage to be shifted towards him with a cb playing off and a safety over-top. With a LB dropping a deep hook to curl. Most would say cover 2 but for right now a tampa 2. Which was installed to take away the deep pass because the Minn and Packer offenses Coach Dungy wanted to slow down.
Anyways, back to Moss. He is pretty much Hybrid of Carter/Rice/Irvin. Yes, he can go up top and make plays like Irvin. He also makes possession catches like Carter to move the chains via, sidelines or over the middle. As well turn a crossing route or a reciever screen to the house like Jerry

I can't watch ex-football players on ESPN because how of their personal agendas against certain players. You have Carter wishing he can shoot T.O in the head. What the hell is that non-sense?

They're both WR that can easily be taken out the game if they don't get a bone thrown to them throughout the game.

Cris Carter is an older dude and he's seen way more receivers play than most of us on here. There are certain guys that we know of because they're celebrated and regarded as legends, but we haven't seen them play during their time. So it's understandable why Cris Carter would make a comment such as this one.
