Charles Barkley if he had the No. 1 overall pick, he would have taken big man Enes Kanter.

Kyrie Irving will disappoint so, but that doesn't mean Kanter would be better cause he's no sure thing but none of the top 4 players drafted wouldn't even be a top 5 pick in a decent draft except Williams and everyone will realize that when the season starts

Its debatable. I wouldn't have had a problem if the Cavs had taken Kanter #1 overall. They still could have gotten a PG at #4 and possibly even Kyrie at #4 because I'm not so sure the Jazz or Wolves would have taken him but you never know.
dumbass

no way he fell to 3 let alone 2. His value alone gets him drafted at 2, besides if the wolves get Kyrie, they don't have to worry how bad of bust Rubio will be.

However if I had the number 1 pick for the Cavs i'm taking either Derrick Williams or even Valanciunas (I have little doubt he will have the best career of all the draft).

Whatever the Cavs definitely failed tho. I can't hate on the Kyrie pick, but Tristan Thompson at #4. Novice.

I never said recently but it's implied since we're talking about the number 1 pick being a PG as opposed to a big man

We're talking TOP PICKS 1-5/TOP 10 PG picks

Not late round players/2nd round steals/sleepers

I forgot I gotta fu*kin break it down on here for people to grasp it

I go on vacation and come back and the stupidity remains

If everyone is saying it's a PG DRIVEN LEAGUE, why would you bring up Magic Johnson? or Isaiah Thomas?

Probably woulda used Jason Kidd in your argument as well since he just won a ring

My n*gga, name ANY top picks since 2000 that have won. Only one I could think of is Pau Gasol...and he was traded to a winning team. You act like it ain't been the same damn teams going to the Finals over and over throughout this decade. Teams who got all the high draft picks in the 2000s were garbage and couldn't win against juggernauts like Kobe/Shaq, Duncan/Robinson/Parker/Ginobli, Boston...etc. So unless an established juggernaut trick a weaker team into giving them a high draft pick you won't have any recent high picks winning a chip with the team that drafted them.

It's not my fault you couldn't comprehend or infer what I was getting at

I just came back from New York and witnessed more fail than I've seen in my lifetime, I think I'm okay with a couple people on boxden not having the smarts to logically form thoughts

I didn't say anything about top picks in general

We were talking about PG's purely

Top Pick PG's

I'm implying that you need a BIG MAN (C/PF) as opposed to a PG to win nowadays. Regular season, yes they do great, but when its the playoffs the BIGS go further in the playoffs than these PG driven teams that everyone raves about during the season
