Boston Bruins (3) Vs Vancouver Canucks (1) - Game 7 |8p EST (game thread)

Game 6 tonight was unbelievable. Game 7 really could go either way. Who do you predict to win game 7? I would have to go with the Bruins winning by 1 thoughts?

It def will be an amazing game. My first thoughts are that Boston wouldn't be able to win in Vancouver but if you look at the Bruins in the playoffs this far they seem to take game 7 by a slim lead hopefully it will carry over. So far Boston only blew out Philly which in my mind was sweet revenge. Other than that tho they always seem to come from behind and pull out game 7.

If Vancouver wins 1-0 or 2-1 should Tim Thomas win the Con Smythe?

Guy is playing out of his mind and Luongo has basically lost all hope he had for that I think.

sh*t is nuts cause every game in Boston was a blowout but the Canuck's home games are different.

Should be great regardless

Rollin with Canucks though since they've won all their home games in the series

but it's game 7 and its hockey so that means nothing really

im sorry canuck fans but you guys just dont have the clutch genes. Take notes how to win game 6 on the road watch the following

Blackhawks VS Flyers Game 6 Stanley Cup finals
Bulls VS Jazz Game 6 NBA finals

And for the sake of winning watch the 2005 Chicago White Sox world series run

Was really confident the Canucks would pull it out tonight but that just wasn't the case.... obviously.

I have a feeling game 7 will be 1-1 and end up going into overtime. It is going to be one crazy game that's for sure. Luongo needs to bring his A game and so does the Canucks defense.

They just seem rattled in Boston and extremely confident in Vancouver. I was in Vancouver over the weekend, the city is crazy nuts right now and I can only imagine how it will be during game 7.

I am hoping I can make it up for Game 7 but we shall see. Would be a once in a lifetime experience.

Game 7 will be insane.

I was thinking that too. I never really like seeing a losing player win MVP, but Tim almost deserves it. I dont care though I'd much rather tbe Cup than some fu*king Conn Smythe. If we lose and he doesnt get it, I definitely wont be upset

I can't even recall the last time the losing team in the finals of a sport had the MVP

Like I said though, win or lose I think he'll win it....unless he gives up a sh*t ton of goals, but by that point I figure they would pull him.

I want the Canucks to win cause I felt bad for so many years when Luongo was in Florida and we did nothing to help him and wasted a lot of his career.

But Chara's been my dude for awhile

Gonna be epic

I wouldn't be mad if Thomas got the Conn Smythe but I prefer the cup. If he won it and the Bruins lost it wouldn't be the first time a losing team has gotten a Finals MVP. Just ask Jerry West.

I'm pretty sure JS Giguere won the Conn Smythe back in like '03 when the Ducks lost the Cup Finals

Crazy how many game sevens Vancouver has had to play this year though. Its amazing they are still in it
Vancouver has only played only 1 Game 7, beat Nashville in 6 and beat San Jose in 5. Boston has played 2 Game 7's

That being said, if we score early and its a soft goal on Luongo, Vancouver is in a tough spot. Luongo is a head case and right now his confidence is low. If we score early and its a leaky goal on Luongo, his confidence worsens and since the Vancouver fans don't really care for him, he won't be able to bounce back b/c the crowd won't lift him back up, if anything they'll boo him. The one thing that has been constant for the whole series, Tim Thomas has been outstanding, no matter if its been in Boston or Vancouver.
