How long has it been the 2-3-2 format? I have a feeling thats an extremely small sample size.

Don't feel like verifying the stat in the OP, but if anyone wants to, here are the only teams to split the first two games in NBA finals in the current format.

2003: New Jersey at San Antonio; ??? wins series, 4-?
2001: Philadelphia at L.A. Lakers; L.A. wins series, 4-1
1998: Chicago at Utah; Chicago wins series, 4-2
1994: New York at Houston; Houston wins series, 4-3
1992: Portland at Chicago; Chicago wins series, 4-2
1991: L.A. Lakers at Chicago; Chicago wins series, 4-1
1990: Portland at Detroit; Detroit wins series, 4-1
1988: Detroit at L.A. Lakers; L.A. Lakers win series, 4-3
1985: L.A. Lakers at Boston; L.A. Lakers win series, 4-2

If the Heat don't come out after this meltdown and flat out dominate Game 3 then they aren't worthy anyways. They should just end the series on Sunday night if the Heat lose. I'd have no problem with the league handing Dallas the trophy if so. That would be really pathetic to follow up GIVING A GAME AWAY by losing the next opportunity to make right by it.

Heat have given us many false senses all year long. Now it's time to see what they're REALLY made of.

I didn't even realize the last 7 years have all been 2-0 leads in the Finals (with Miami and Detroit being the only two teams ever to overcome that).
