If A.I. had played post hand checking, we'd be talking about him as top 10 all time.

Based on what we seeing from D.Rose right now he will likely have a better career than A.I. cuz he is a selfless player, leads by example and buys into the system and does whatever it takes to win. And he's a top-10 player that hasn't even smelled his prime yet. Barring any major injuries, he will have a better resume, but one injury could change everything like with many young superstars that wasn't so lucky.

But saying A.I. didn't have an impact in NBA is crazy, cuz he was the primary reason the NBA enforced a dress code and had just about every hooper rockin cornrows and arm sleeves. His cultural impact will go unmatched. He also paved the way for small scoring guards to make a living in the league with his play, not to mention he had a hell of a career despite his meltdown at the end.

A.I. had a hall of fame career and will be there at some point, and if D.Rose can stay healthy and grow as a player at this current pace, then he'll have a better career than Iverson.

rose is the youngest mvp, he'll probably break all those except the scoring champion....

BUT ROSE will not eclipse iverson as a total scoring threat... iverson's jumper > rose's jumper....
but rose driving to the basket > iverson " "

will rose have a more successful career than iverson?!? HELL YES...hes less selfish and more humble

@ wade being better than iverson.. wade played in a watered down nba... iverson had LA and SA in their fu*king gplden years

rose will have a better career, hes more team oriented, better slasher, better finisher... idk about being a better jumpshooter or being tougher than iverson... but he'll get a ring... and have a more successful career than iverson

remember that iverson had COUNTLESS 40-50 PT GAMES.. and 5 seasons with 30/+ PPG...but yeah he was ballhogging at its finest

i remember telling bx in roses rookie year that he was a lock for the HOF and i got harassed for it... not only is he a lock for the HOF but apparently people are trying to knock legends off their pedestals for him
Lets not sh*t on Wade now, he would have beasted in any era period. His style of play would have transitioned to any era.. And the very same guy in your avy, plays in the same era you sh*t on. Wade is already a damn good defender without having the ability to handcheck, think about how great he could have been in the older era when hanchecking was allowed.. Guy would be even more of a lock down defender.

With that said, players like LeBron,Wade,Rose, and even Westbrook would have been fine in the era's back then, they are all super strong and fast.. Handchecking wouldn't have been able to contain them.. All of those players take contact very well.. Certain players in the league wouldn't be as good with the hand checking rules, but the ones who are viewed as strong and quick for their position would do just fine.

Not to mention lets not act like A.I didn't play in this current era for atleast 5 years, if he was so damn great he would have extended his career with the no handchecking rule.. But he didn't and flamed out.

Rose led the league in shot attempts and wasn't in the top 5 in scoring....was he a ball hog too?
