Why do yall want the game changed so much everytime a new one drops? Why is Madden, NBA2K all so successful? Besides graphics I really can't tell the difference between Madden NFL 10 and Madden NFL 11. But they're always successes because they don't alter what made the game so good. Sometimes, people don't like having what made the game great altered at all. As a COD player all I want is newer guns, maps and perks and I'm set to go :dancingcool:
I don't think it's the changes that get folks riled up as much as this game seeming to become a yearly franchise is what makes people turn away. Much like the Madden series. It's the same game, different year. It feels like they're starting to milk the fans for $$$ by releasing what equates to a 'roster update' to put it in Madden terms. New guns, new maps, same gameplay. Seems like that would be maybe a $15 DLC as opposed to a $60 game.
I'm not too serious about my FPS games though, I've played every COD from MW to Black Ops, liked them all. Not very meticulous when it comes to breaking down the differences...but what I wrote above is what I think the hardcore fans who don't fu*k with the series anymore feel. I, personally, would be fine with longer time periods between COD games. sh*t it's not like people aren't still playing MW2 or Black Ops still.
But whatevs, I'm just kicking sh*t for the hell of it.
