Its a nice argument and video.. MJ still the GOAT.. Kobe backers always want to throw out stats and overall accomplishments.. and then discuss who's better.. Makes no sense to me.. Make excuses like Kobe played with Shaq, but KObe backers ignore the fact that Jordan played in a era with stacked teams and played on teams with worse supporting cast than what Iverson had before Pippen came along.. Soon as Shaq left we seen Kobe struggle mightily also.. He missed the playoffs once and constantly got eliminated.. no one man can do it alone.. Lets not forget Kobe was on the brink of joining the Bulls in fear his legacy would be tarnished if the Lakers didn't make immediate changes..

I bet MJ wouldn't have been Shaq's 2nd option.. We know that for a fact, just by the type of ego MJ has.. He would never settle for being someones second options, and wouldn't give a fu*k if he pissed Shaq off or not in the process..

WIth that said, Kobe still top 5..

Jordan won the 1998 title without Pippen basically... you dumbass... Pippen missed half the season and was plagued the whole playoffs with back problems including the final game of the Jazz series... He didnt even play in the second half

so he did play though, because now I'm confused

Basically w/o doesn't mean w/o. besides who cares if scottie missed half the season. Scottie made the Bulls playoff contenders w/o Michael so I'm not sure what point you're trying to argue

you do know kobe had his best years when his team couldnt get out the first round.

81, 4 games straight 50+ points,playing left handed.

the only thing that video told me is nobody can win a championship without a great team.

Kobe is as good as MJ. If you dont believe this you are a hater. Only thing Kobe has over Mike is probably a better 3pt shot but Kobe isnt a great 3pt shooter so who gives a sh*t. If he was so great at it people would talk about it. Nobody could stop them one on one indivdually in their era. We will never see them play each other in their prime. Only thing you going to argue is stats and achievements. Lets be real is that the only way to prove who is greater player between these two or is it proving who is the greater achiever?

There is only one way to prove who's better in any competition and its going one on one in their prime. No matter if you switch them from each other's era they would still dominate from a offensive and defensive stand point. Kobe/MJ had no competition indivdually but both needed great teams to win chips. The only reason Mike dominated his era he kept his championship team together for 6 and Kobe kept his for 3.
