Nah that's funny to me. Love it when he does funny stuff like that. Almost always has me going cracking up. If you think about it, he's the only one in hip hop who doesn't give a sh*t and does that at that level. No other rapper dares to give you a track like Fack (which left me in tears when I first heard it). Of course there's a few tracks that are damn stupid cuz he tried too hard (Ass Like That... God that one's horrible) but for the most part, while a lot of people use that against him, I actually give him props for that.

Dam can't believe that was in 2000. What made that album what it was, was because he was straight raw with it & went against most norms making music people could relate to even if they hadnt been in that situation......something 99.7% of rappers in the post 2000 era of rap never can do & wonder why their fickle bandwagon fans jumpship so early.

Em's not even in my top 10 but this was a hella of an album

Could have sworn it was Diamond worldwide already a long time ago. So does this mean he is Diamond in the US or that he has actually sold 10 million and not just shipped?

I love these threads and the main reason is to hear people argue what his best album was. What people fail to see is all his albums are good and they are all different. If you sit back and listen to each of his albums from the overall perspective a good amount of those songs reflect the album title. Eminem on each of his albums has changed sh*t a complete 180,

Slim Shady LP = Was a fun, quirky album. At the end of this CD is one of his best songs which I always thought laid a good tone for the next one

Marshall Mathers = Darker and more personal, a really angry and upset Eminem. This is around the time he went into super stardom. Eminem stayed in the news, with gun charges, partying, dropping pills at the VMAS, catching lawsuits.

The Eminem Show - People argue this is his best one but some will say the later is. All relative to your tastes. Good album has angry and fun mixed into it.

Encore - Though I like the whole thing, I think the general consensus is when it is good it is GOOD, when it is bad it is REAL fu*kING BAD..... With that being said there are maybe 4 tracks you can make a point to not liking.

I am not going to get into the next 2 because those just came out. I feel that those 4 albums are all classics, I can listen to them still and it takes me back to that time. Like I said though each one is different and the same in the same instance.

Really?

so u really think its because of his skill??????

and his SKIN COLOR has no factor in it at all???

Honestly?

if it was based solely on his skill, NAS would be going diamond also, correct?
or how about slaughterhouse?

Eminem had perfect timing when he came out. he grabbed all the "white boys" who wanted to fit into hip hop but couldnt because they couldnt relate to the subject matter that was previously being discussed in hip hop. I'll even say maybe its his subject matter rather than his skin color, he speaks for white america, uk, etc....
