I don't think that leads to being a cancer tho.

Hot head? Yes without a doubt, but a cancer?
it just seems like Howard plays for "Howard"
LA will end up being a good fit for him because hes better at playing Robin & not Batman

no bron is not a cancer
but he is the man that does not want to be "the man"

Howard stays in foul trouble and i think leads the league in technical fouls
he had 5 fouls at the beginning of the 4th quarter
i agree about lebron tho, i think that was a big reason why he chose the heat cuz he can always deflect to wade or bosh in the clutch situations where the leader supposed to step up and finish it off...iggy played his a.ss great today...only had like 4 or 5 points in the 2nd half today

true but tonight proves that orlando can not run their total offense through howard because he does not play both sides of the court. tonight i watch howard countless times begging for the ball in the paint and bi*ching when he didn't get the ball
That is typical of him, but it really does not help when the rest of your team is shooting under 30% and you going beast mode 1 on 5 type sh*t. If the Magic want to move forward, get another coach, ship out Jameer and Turk, cop a legit PG and a legit back-up for Howard, they should have never broke up that 08 team.

dwight needs to work on holding onto the ball when he is making those post moves, for a guy as strong as he is, its too easy to strip him when hes trying to get free for a shot, he still has a lot to work on offensively thats for sure

Ahh I see.. He reminds me of Amar'e as far as not passing the ball but with the shot opportunities missed over & over again by his teammates, I don't know if I would be as willingly as a passer. Some are different like Lebron for example. Tremendous passer & very unselfish, but not all players have that mentality.

& I think he would be a perfect fit with LA as well. It looks like the most logical too.

yeh it sad how that situation ended. he wanted to go to Chicago or stay in Cleveland buit in the end he basically got forced to making a decision he didn't feel confident in making.
And the crazy thing is up to this point is hes had to work harder in Miami then he was in Cleveland. It makes no sense for the three to be putting up crazy numbers but barely beating teams.
Anyway back to the thread title

yea i think they would have been pretty good keeping courtney lee, turk and shard...that team worked, they should have never changed it up, well they could have let turk go and let lewis move back to the 3 or somethin...magic need to get my man j.r. smith lol, dude might be a knucklehead but he can score at will

And that's how you beat the Magic....Let Howard score his points and deny his teammates or force them to take contested shots. But according to the Howard stans, I don't know what I'm talking about and I don't watch basketball..

Rashard eating up 1/3 of their cap hurt them, 7 years $111 million, he is probably worth half that. But Courtney Lee, Matt Barnes and Pietrius were the reason they made it that far, long tall guards and forward who could shoot and defend.

The team should start over. Get as much as they can for Dwight, fire the GM and Coach then restart. Now, if Dwight is cool with staying as long as the Coach and GM are fired then fire them and see what they can get for any player on the roster except Dwight. They've stuck with Jameer all this time and have nothing to show for it get his a.ss out of there too.

I must be reading some of this sh*t wrong. You fools really think that Rafer Alston was beasting against LA in the finals that year? He had like one good game

Just wasn't their year

You got to think, I'd rather have Rafer in there, who was playing better than Jameer, than to throw Jameer to the wolves, coming off of basically season ending surgery, out of basketball shape, and less chemistry with the team. Not saying Rafer was beasting, but he was a reason why they got the finals that year, the chemistry he developed with the team going into the post-season. Stan fu*ked it up by throwing Jameer in the mix, and he missed the last 50 games of the season. They should have just held him out, don't try and fix something that was not broke in the first place.

OK...

This is the last time I wanna hear "Howard" or "Nelson" and "cancer" in the same sentence.

The Magic game plan is to kick it to the post. Once in the post, either Howard takes a shot or kicks it out to an open shooter. Also, they run the pick and roll. End of gameplan. If anything, Stan VanGundy and Otis Smith is why the team is failing. I actually believed Otis, after the trades in December, that he wasn't done getting players because we needed more depth in the front court. fu*k you Otis, even if you dont visit this site.

Howard did what he was supposed to do. When the ball came to him, he took the shot because option 2 was taken away. Howard matched his career best in points. Jameer may not be the biggest gaurd, but he plays big. The second half showed what he is capable of. He takes it to the hoop and hits jumpers when he cant go in. You can't blame Howard for people missing shots. And if another dumbass says Howard cant play defense, im gonna..... I guess back-to-back Defensive Player of the Years dont mean sh*t huh?

Now, if you have an all-star on your team, would you expect them to want the ball in big games? If Kobe, Durant, Rose, Wade, or any main superstar on your team wants the ball when the team is down, are you gonna call them a fu*king cancer????(well, maybe Kobe) I could see if Howard wasn't making shots, but he was hot all night. He did what he gets paid to do and what's expected of him. Yall keep hating on him. Keep on denying him a league MVP. He is the only player you can definitively say is the best player at his position.

As for the game, its only 0-1 for the Magic. They will bounce back and win the next two games for sure. I, nor any other Magic fan, am not sweating this loss.
