Humans have higher mental capabilities of reasoning and cognition - they're able to conceive of situations other than the present, which allows for meaningful attachments like "loyalty".

dogs don't have the cognitive function to have what we think of as "loyalty"
We don't believe you, you need more people.

There is no proof of what you are saying. Of course animals can feel emotion. It's fair to say that animals with neurological development can feel a deeper spectrum of emotions, but I'd say most can feel happiness, sadness,etc.

How can you explain a dog avoiding its owner for a few hours after the owner has finished yelling at him. My dog does this all the time. If I yell at him, he won't come back to my room for a while, and act standoffish. That is certainly emotion.

Horribly over-used analogy. I'll eat an already dead turkey but I would never k!ll a turkey unless I was starving to death. And to answer your next question, no I wouldn't eat an already dead dog (Unless I was starving to death), the thought of it just disgusts me.

I can't stand when people use the argument that if you eat meat you have no right comparing a typical animal to a human. You just make yourself sound like an idiot.

Humans = Animals. Fact.

When my dog writes a essay , I'll call it smart. For now it's just a dumb animal who feels companionship,can be trained, and loves bacon bits.

1. you make yourself sound like an idiot trying to insult someone who asked a question you might not agree with very childish

2. bold part makes no sense u would eat something thats already dead but would never k!ll it wtf u ate it what came first the chicken or the egg

3. if u eat meat there is no difference u might not want to think it but it is wut it is it is just a personal choice on wut meat u choose

4. yes we are animals but were humans and are on top of the food chain

5. you still have not explained wut the difference is dog,cat,turkey,chicken,cow

Yes that makes perfect sense. If you can't see that you're proving my point. I wouldn't ever in my life k!ll any animal, ever, unless my life depended on it. So because I can't k!ll an animal, you're saying I shouldn't be able to eat an already dead animal? If the meat doesn't get eaten, its going to go to waste. The animal is dead either way. You're an idiot, plain and simple.

Seeing as dogs can feel envy, love, anger, pain etc. yeah.. they can show emotions like humans, they show incredible loyalty but you wouldn't know that because you are too busy twiddling your thumbs like a dumbass

it's ok, the world is full of ignorant people and they say ignorant is bliss so in a world like this maybe it's better off you can't have real thoughts.
