does anyone else see a problem wit this? i doubt it works out...neither of them are post player n straight up face up players with no play makers (unless Felton stays? )
It'll work.. melo's game is probably the easiest to adapt to for any player.. He gets his points in the flow of the game. Hell he even adjusted to Iverson play, so what does that tell you. The thing is the Knicks will still be pretty good for their first two seasons but they wont be scary.. I think they'll slightly be better than the Hawks.. I don't think CP3 or Deron will make it to FA(Hornets/Jazz wont let them walk for free like the Cavs and Raptors, they'll likely take the Nugget route and trade them mid season), and they have nothing to offer for them next year as all their a.ssets and draft picks are gone..
They wont sign anyone to a long term deal this summer because they are waiting out hope for 2012.. In 2012 then they'll go all out to fill out the roster around their two building blocks.. Hopefully there's a young PG with potential they can pay for like they did with Felton, or maybe just sign Felton back when he's a FA again..
And then fill out the remaining spots with the rest of the money and be dangerous in 2012-2013.. but thats a lot of waiting.. with Amar'e being 28 right now, Melo being 27.. it is what it is though.. they got their building blocks I suppose.
