Eeza, you posted...

"All I'm sayin is that 2pac better watch his skinny, hard act s**t,
because
I think Mobb Deep is for real, and they'll f**k 2pac up for that s**t. He
better not even cross the Mississippi."

I respond...

People always say this. This seem to forget Tupac's history. This is the
man who saw two cops harassing a brother, got out of his car, and shot the
two cops. NOBODY I have known in my life has ever done some s**t like
that. Huey P Newton is the only brother I know of that would have been
wild enough to do that s**t, when he was alive. Tupac got shot FIVE times.
Not once. FIVE. Two shots hit him in the head. He not only suirvived, HE
SHOWED UP IN COURT THE NEXT f**kING DAY!!! So, say what you will about
Tupac's music, as a person he is a straight up soldier. Sure, he has done
irresponsible things, but so did Huey Newton when he was alive. Both men
had their revolutionary side and their counterrevolutionary side. Huey
used to beat women. Now, Pac never did no dumb s**t like that, but he has
slipped up sometimes. In the r*pe case, he had consensual s3x with the
woman (even she attested to this), but it will never be known what
happened between her and his boys. Did he allow it or was he really in the
other room? Either way, he should have gotten that sister out of there.
That would have been the righteous thing to do. But like I said, Pac's
made mistakes.

Mobb Deep, BTW, has beef with Def Squad. Now, personally I think Redman's
tall a.ss could beat the s**t out of Havok and Prodigy (they both average
under 5'9 from what I hear). Mobb Deep are the ones that need to chill
out, because I read in RAPPAGES that they tried to kick that "LA, LA" song
at a show in Los Angeles and got bottles thrown at they a.sses. Now, the
June 4, 1996

crowd was peaceful till they did that song, according to my sources. But
then they had to be dumb a.sses and spark it off. How the f**k you gonna
disrespect somebody's hometown when you're in their hometown? Security had
to rescue their silly a.sses before they got mobbed (pun intended).

f**k Mobb Deep. They pussied out when Redman came at them. Them
b**ches got sliced up. Pac would f**k them up with the quickness.

s**t.....why am I saying this, Mobb Deep ain't even at his level. Watch
out, Pac is on a storm so "Holla At Me"

WHATS UP WITH THE SOURCE?
TO BE PLAIN ****ING SIMPLE
THE MAG IS WACK. THE WRITERS OF THE MAG APPEARED TO ALL WALK OUT ON THE SOURCE

TO ME THIS ****ED ME UP BECAUSE THE SOURCE WAS THE **** TO FIND OUT WHATS GOING
ON IN THE HIP HOP WORLD. I MEAN THE OTHER MAGS OUT LIKE WORD UP AND VIBE AND
ETC.. DIDN'T STACK WELL WITH THE SOURCE BECAUSE TO SOME EXENT THEY REPRESENTED
THE REAL. LAST ****ING COUPLE OF ISSUES WERE SAD TO LOOK AT. I USED TO GET HYP
ED EVERYTIME I BOUGHT ONE. THE MAIN REASON FOR THE DECLINE TO ME IS THE STAFF
THAT TOOK OFF ON THE SOURCE. NOW THE NEW STAFF AINT PUTTING OUT AND I JUST HOP

lol you have no idea. they're were a few illuminati post on there but they were saying that tupac, suge, biggie, nas deathrow were apart of some conspiracy to lead black men down the wrong path lol. there was also other post where people were asking about illuminati cause they heard prodigy and other rappers reference it alot.

They were saying some horrible things about Pac after he died. They had Pac all kinds of misconstrued. I felt bad for dude because he basically died with people believing that he was a rapist.

those songs. :)

Thats wierd.. They make it seem like [if he is dead] he planned the
whole thing.. I dont understand it.. They have [all the sudden] Makaveli

Has it not occured to anyone that Tupac shootings may NOT have been a
setup and have NOTHING to do with the supposed "East Coast/ West Coast
beef". Isn't there the possibility that it was an attempted robbery or
some other type of dispute.

Doesn't anyone think that if Tupac was set up to be shot out in Vega
they would have at least have done the job properly?

Subject: Cybersleaze Claims Tupac k!lled by death Row!
Forward | Print | Individual message | Show original | Report this message | Find messages by this author
In today's(9/17/96)Cybersleaze
(), I found the following
interesting report:

Las Vegas police are investigating reports that TUPAC SHAKUR's
murder was motivated by his recent decision to leave death ROW RECORDS
and start his own label. Shakur died on Friday from four bullet wounds
sustained in a drive-by shooting six days earlier. Interestingly
enough, death Row chief MARION 'SUGE' KNIGHT also suffered
minor injuries. Two sources close to the controversial star believe the
killing was tied to his plans to quit death Row. One source says, "He
was trying to do it [leave death Row] on the down low. He knew he
couldn't do something abruptly because it could mean death." Shakur
had planned to produce a movie about his mother, Black Panther member
AFENI SHAKUR - and also intended to market a new soft drink. But, a
week before he was gunned down, Shakur showed signs of an apparent
decision to finish with death Row by firing the company lawyer who had
been handling his personal business. A private funeral for the slain
rapper, attended only his family, was held in Las Vegas on Saturday and
the body was cremated in Los Angeles over the weekend. death Row is
rumored to be considering having its own memorial service.

What do you think? Anything to this?

" That's right! That b**ch got shot again. This time he got shot 5x
and his right lung has been removed. Now he has 1 nut and 1 lung. Good
for his punk a.ss. I can see it already comin'. 1000 messages all callin'
me a playa hata. Find a new phrase. That **** is played out. I was using
the term playa in grade school."

"I kind of hate that Tupac survived this latest round of shooting......
Not thatt I want him dead or anything.... I just know a few months
from now he's gonna be talkin more stuff about Bad boy tryin to k!ll
him on his next single.... He's also gonna brag that he took 4 more
shots and still survived.. that he's invincible... just like in 'Hit

In the beginning, rap was rap... it came from the heart and the soul,
not the pocketbook and the wallet. True MCs are slowly but surely
becoming a dying breed. *****z selling out to the gangsta rap hardcore
"I-shot-ya-daddy-and-I'll-damn-sure-shoot-ya-momma-too" ridiculous
bull****. Now I see wannabees on the net tryin to be hard like these
rappers they emulate.

Hip-Hop is mentally dead... MCs who try to put a message out to the
urban youths that what's going on today doesn't have to go on tomorrow
are given little airplay, and those with a message who are given more
airplay are labeled as "sellouts" or "not being true", just because
they don't promote murder and drugs.

Maybe hip-hop isn't mentally dead, maybe it's just the people who
purchase it. Over 60% of sales from hip-hop tapes, CDs, etc, can be
attributed to white, suburban,
"driving-my-daddy's-vette-cuz-mine-is-in-the-shop" kids. Lemme put it
in perspective. If you're white and well off, what interest do you
have in hearing someone talk about upliftment of the Black community?
There seems to be a fascination between rich white boys and acting
thuggish. When you ain't never held a gun in your hand, never seen
anyone get shot, and never been arrested, I guess you HAVE to use
Bone's CD as a "ghetto tutorial". It's all a vicious cycle, and it is
too frustrating to explain in one article.

Okay...who else here has heard this phat joint called "Shook Ones" by Mobb

Yea, I thought this single was mad phat too. Been looking for the
single for weeks, and still haven't found it.

Jan 5 1995

it's been out since Late October,
and available at NYC Record stores since Late November.

By the way, the "Shook Ones (Original)" is phat too!
"Shook Ones (Rmx)" is the #1 Underground track of the Year
(#2 "murder MCs")(#3 "Proceed" - The Roots)
