How to beat a fast metabolism ?
 

 
Question to people with actual knowledge in health around here.

I have a fast metabolism and have always had it all my life.
I'm skinny,but pretty fit and healthy for a slim guy.

I was just wondering are there ways to get around my fast metabolism and gain some more weight ?

Credentials
Weight : 145lbs.
Height : 5ft11in.

Everyone is like it'll catch up to me when I get older. I dont think so though


Oh yeah folks don't say "eat more" cause trust me I eat enough for like 2-3 people.

i got the cure. and this is some real s**t.

I'm 6'3" ... with no exercise i can be as low as 175 and i hit 165 at my lowest... hitting the weights i'll hit a wall at 185-190. I played football in college and my playing weight was 185, so i figured that with all that working out, i must not be able to get any bigger. i tell you about football cuz i tried everything from protein shakes, expensive weight gainers, to boiled eggs. they dont work.

Then this past yr i discovered the truth!! ... McDonald's breakfast dollar menu. Every morning i got 1 sausage and biscuit for 99cents and within a few weeks, or the first time in my life, i weighed in at 197.

I hit the weights for like two weeks, was lookin pretty beastily....

and before someone a.ssumes my metabolism is gone... our McD's burned down at the beginning of December and im already at 180

yo that was like a sign from God for u. McDonald's dollar menu is probably the quickest way to f**k up ur metabolism forever. stay healthy maynee. ts, do u do squats when u work out? that s**t'll boost your testosterone, help u get ur weight up.

oh damn.well you hit the hammer head on the nail with that question.
I'm not too sure what my calorie intake is,that I know i needa work on.My dumbass meant I have a large enough appetite of 2-3 ppl.
As for meals I usually eat 4-6 meals a day.

breakfast-pancakes,some bacon and or eggs.
lunch-usually a sandwich or something easy to make like that. (cold cuts or tuna)
dinner-typical dinner.(rice,either meat or chicken)

I put 4-6 cause I usually eat a sandwich or something lite twice a day.& may eat something real late at night.

I know myself that I needa eat more veggies.
How many calories is one suppose to take in daily?

Keep an accurate calorie count on everything you eat, figure out what your maintenance level is and just eat more than what that is. If you stay the same weight with 2500 cals, eat 3000 daily.

your not eating much. I thought I eat a lot then starting counting calories to be only eat at most 2500..you need to eat 3000-4000 really to gain weight which I know you are not doing..I starting doing that and the weight just gained quick..

Yeah,the counting of calories is what I need to start on.

I'm serious,but think what you'd like.

& You must not be reading cause nowhere does it claim i know everything.
& to ask a question and to seek advice clearly shows me not knowing enough on the topic,one would usually realize that right away folk.

im eating probably about a 1kg of rice + 1kg of meat a day, divided up into 6/7 meals

best to google a calorie calculator and add 500 calories to it

i've been working at mcdonalds for about 7 months and i had a big mac everyday for 2 weeks
im still skinny as f**k i tried protein bars but the s**t taste like garbage, im on to this protein drink called nekkid juice tho i dont know if anyone has heard of that or knows something better
