Olivia munn leaving g4
Speaking at the Television Critics a.ssociation press tour today to promote her new series, Perfect Couples, Olivia Munn was asked about her decision to leave Attack of the Show and if she felt she was disappointing her fans and "leaving them behind."
Replied Munn, "Well, first of all, the fans are the only reason why I'm sitting here today. I always give them credit. I don't consider that I left them. I feel like they put me on this ride and they're coming along with me." She added that thanks to Twitter and fan meet ups, "I'm very much in contact with [my fans]. "
As for what drew her to Perfect Couples, Munn remarked, "This is something I wanted to do forever. On Attack of the Show, I had such a great time and such a great experience, but you want to see if you can make other dreams come true."
Munn, who is also appearing periodically on The Daily Show, again said she felt she was given the opportunities she had been because of her fans, adding, "I wanted to continue doing Attack of the Show, but apparently you can't do four shows at once!" (I a.ssume the "four shows" was a joking exaggeration, last fall's Chuck guest appearance aside – unless there's a hidden Munn TV show floating about?).
Munn's costar, Kyle Bornheimer, joked, "We're going to incorporate Attack of the Show into Perfect Couples." Munn nodded, referencing a famous Attack of the Show moment, as she deadpanned that she'd jump into a pie and adding, "Don't worry, I'll still be pandering!"
