stay away from American cars they are garbage. CTS is overpriced piece of s**t imo. My sister had one for 4 years and it was siht. The axle broke out of no where, the interior started peeling and breaking.

My friend and cousin have 3 series and it is decent and reliable. Only bad thing is everything is expensive.

cts wastes more gas btw

BMWs are nice but they have a lot of mechanical problems. Expensive to own & maintain! Caddy all day! Id get Japanese; Lexus, Acura or Infiniti but that wasnt on your list.

What should he buy?
if he gave a very specific price range I'd give him an exact yr make model of a car

but IMO buying a 3 series is paying more for a girl car because it has a shiny BMW emblem

The 335 is far from a girls car...plus the beemers gas mileage is underrated....A lot Of people get well over 30 mpgs on the highway

American cars are garbage For the dude debating which to get out of the 2, go with the 08+ CTS. There's nothing like owning a Cadillac. The 08 CTS-V trumped every foreign car in its class including the BMW, Mercedes etc. The CTS Period is not a overpriced piece of s**t. The axle broke out of no where? that can happen to any vehicle. I know someone who bought a BMW brand new and the transmission blew within 10k. So i guess BMWs are really overpriced pieces of s**t. American cars are great, GM is putting out quality vehicles. The Buick and Cadillac lineup are very nice. If you take care of your regular oil changes and make sure all the fluids are fine, that CTS will take great care of you in return.

looks like a girl car to me. to each his own I guess

ehh actually I guess it does look clean really exterior wise

performance bimmer would be better no brainer

gas mileage this coupe would prolly end up being better. caddy's aren't nothin like the guzzlers they used to be tho

but between these two I'd get the 335

that's based off of premium vs. regular.

if he put premium in the caddy it would lose

Damn people, it seems to be 50-50. I def need to test drive both and see how they handle. Like dude said before, every car can have problems and there no way to predict it, so I'm leaning towards the CTS, but time will tell, thanks for the feeback.

I have done alot of research on BMW's and PLEASE DO NOT BUY!!!! unless you can work on cars, know someone who can work of them for cheap, buy a good a.ss warranty.... they are extremely costly to fix and have horrible statistics about problems happening to the car...

Acura, Infiniti, Lexus, or even Hydunai

and yes I said Hydunai....

well hell im talking about long term, and everyone knows they give u warranty, knowing u will have minor problems in the length of the warranty, just to cash in... all the major s**t happens after the warranty goes out...
