Speaking strongly out of ignorance when you haven't watched the film for yourself?

That's not going to happen. And no one is still talking about Boogie Nights and Malcolm X. The Social Network is a good movie, but extremely overrated.

Yea no one talking about 2 of our greatest generations directors and their breakthrough films....yea....no one talking about em today.

I was searching to see if Armond White had anything to say of ETTGS and accidentally came across this.

Does Black Swan's synopsis scream out "MUST SEE!" ?

No... if we had no idea that Arnof was directing and Portman, Kunis, and Cassel were in it would anyone be anticipating it?

No.

Well, people in the know, know the director is good, the actresses are good/decent, Cassel is great. So people want to see it, rightfully so.

Well if you were in the know of Street Art you would know a movie by the notorious Banksy is a must see just off of the fact that you have no idea what will happen but you know it's going to be good.

I dunno if its better than Inception, but they are entirely different movies going for different things.

But sorry I can't see someones view after they tell me Alice in Wonderland is a good movie.

Thats fine. Im really not interested in seeing your views on anything anyways if youre going to be so pretenious. Im fine on agreeing to disagree, but some people cant handle that.

Malcolm X isn't Spike Lee's breakthrough film, for one. And hardly anyone I know has ever seen or heard of Boogie Nights.

No.
Has nothing to do with Aronofsky who adds to an already interesting story, Portman/Kunis are eye candy but not great actresses so I don't get your point.

It looks like a psychological thriller with parallels to movies that I love, and it isn't a cheap thriller either, that alone makes it a top watch for this year. Considering there isn't 3 movies worth seeing (this year) over it makes it a MUST SEE.

hahahaha.... pretty much... Anyone who can look me in the face and say "Alice In Wonderland" was a good movie is someone I probably would never want to trust with movies.

And, "The Social Network" IS overrated. It's not groundbreaking, and it won't be talked about 5 years from now. Without any real true commentary on the cultural effects of facebook, all it will ever be is an over-dramatized docudrama... Not to say it is bad, it's a really good movie, just not better than what else is on my list.

Whether you accept it or not is your business... either way, the list isn't changing no matter how many times you scream points without backup.
