Uh no he shouldn't.. That was his first big contract after his rookie deal.. Artest already got an Iggy like contract before he signed that small deal with the Lakers.. So he had no problem taking less with his 3rd contract in the league.. After your rookie deal is up, you wont find a player in the league willing to take less than what the current market says they are worth.. Maybe if they are going on their 3rd or 4th contract in the league, but not the first one after a rookie deal.
Then they need to get rid of him, dude is like 27. He's nice but he isn't going to take this team anywhere other than 3-4 wins over great teams, and then just bottom feeder wins. & of course, dunk highlights. He'd be a good 3rd option, cause he aint built like that.
