What kind of stupid f**king sh*t is this?
He is not a government DJ that works for the public. He can play whatever the f**k he wants. How many DJs didn't play Chris Brown records after he punched a hole in Rihanna's face?
Did you complain about being denied Chris Brown's music?
When Sinead O' Connor ripped up a picture of the pope on live TV, and the airwaves ditched her, did you complain about being denied her music?
When the Dixie Chicks didn't support George Bush's Iraq war, and radio stopped playing them, were crying for the people being denied their music too?
Yes, when you are a DJ on the air excepting listener request then you are a "public" DJ. When you work for a radio station on the air when the people call to request music you have to play it. When it was 2Pac's birthday, a listener called up the station and asked if Flex could play some 2Pac, Flex replied by saying something like "I'm not really a big Pac fan" and said "I'll think about it" and then went on to play BIG's music the whole night instead.
I'm saying all that to let you know that he's clearly letting his personal bias get in the way of his profession. Flex clearly has a deep rooted issue with Pac more than what he said and when a person in his position is doing that, it's bad for the business. Point blank.
