Im sure he'll still manage to play, but I doubt we will see anymore of those 40-50 pt games from him... Hopefully he can make something from this similar to how Grant kept his career going...

thats terrible for him. why can't players like kwame brown or darko or jerome jones have things like this happen to them? so many worthless players getting paid and just healthy as an ox and potentially great players are getting sidelined with career threatening injuries

This is why sports leagues should not be cutting people's salaries.
Even if they cut his salary he would still be able to buy a bigger house then what I got so I wouldn't feel to bad for the rich being a little less richer.

That sucks. I grew up near his family and we know a lot of the same people. He used to be a beast against us in HS (I went to Franklin with AB c/o '03). I wish him the best.

He had a lot of potential to be real good in the NBA but his bad back did him in.

Yeah if anyones watched him play recently they can tell he's not the same ... I hope he made some wise financial moves and that he and his family don't suffer from such an unfortunate circumstance.

They're healthy because they average 10 minutes a game

Sad s**t though. Roy is a great player.

not having an ACL doesn't cause any kind of pain. the only painful part of an ACL is when u actually tear it, not afterward. blair just has a lack of stability, but beause his injury was gradual, his muscles developed and r strong enough to compensate for it (at least for now).

the meniscus is basically a layer of cartilage padding where ur 2 leg bones meet at the joint. without it, it's "bone on bone" like u hear often and ur more susceptible to arthritis and chronic pain.

i've had 6 knee injuries, had ACL reconstruction surgery twice, and meniscus removal if that adds any validity. right now the only thing that bothers me is soreness from the lack of meniscus from time to time and scar tissue from my surgeries catching. ACL injuries don't cause long term pain.
oh ok, didn't know that... i hope they can find something to fix this... i know they got artificial technology that they can implement... i ain't like he doesn't have the cake to pay for it...
