4 weeks too late imo. Wade is the definition of a homer. Who's d!ck he sucked to stay head coach for this long is baffling.

I've got my fingers crossed that a team from the NFC East makes the Super Bowl, that will be classic. Having to crown a Super Bowl Champion from the NFC East in the middle of the JerryDome. The old man might croak right there

Giants quarterback Eli Manning returns to the scene of his most famous autograph -- on the wall of the visitor's locker room at Cowboys Stadium in the first game last season.

``A lot of different teams in opposing locker rooms, a.ssistants have players sign the opposing wall,'' Manning said in a conference call with Dallas-area reporters on Wednesday. "I've done it at a lot of different places around the NFL and I thought they were starting a new tradition. So it will be interesting to see if anybody else has signed the wall, or if I'm the only one, or if they erased it.''

Manning said he was surprised at the scope of hoopla from his signature. He insists that he was invited by a stadium worker to sign the lockerroom attendant's wall.

``I was surprised just Because it is a tradition in a lot of other stadiums,'' Manning said. ``Part of the reason why is it just wasn't explained very well. People made it sound like I just went right in their locker room and, right for everybody to see, was trying to do something disrespectful. It wasn't like that by any means.''

Manning could have the distinction of marking both locker rooms if the Giants reach the Super Bowl. The NFC representative will be the home team at Cowboys Stadium. Asked if he'd sign the home team's wall if they won it all, Manning chuckled.

"I don't think so,'' he said. "I'd like to be there, but I wouldn't want to disrespect the Cowboys or their new stadium.

I dont know if Jason Garrett is going to be any better but it had to be done. IMO it's more an embarrassment for Jones to keep Wade around getting slaughtered every week than it is to go back on what he said

I think we all saw this coming at the time it came.

It's one thing to lose while playing hard. Lose close games, lose late in games due to dumb mistakes.... THAT Jones could have lived with until the end of the season. Under those circumstances, Jones woulda let Wade keep his job until the end of the season.... and only to the end of the season because, make no mistake about it... Jones WAS gonna fire Wade at the end of the season. I personally believe his mind was made up.

but,

It's something completely different to get blown out, while your team quits... and be totally embarrassed. THAT, Jones decided, was cause for IMMEDIATE termination. I mean, why wait? Wade was gonna get fired anyway, right?

[Eddie Murphy Raw] HALF!!!! [/Eddie Murphy Raw]

But seriously, he'll get a couple mil in a buyout. He'll be alright. He'll just console himself in a hot bowl of grits and apple butter until a team reaches out to him for a D-coordinator spot.
