We dont live in fantasy sports world in NE. We dont need deep threats. Look at the past couple Super Bowl winners...is there a 'deep threat' on any of them?
Giants had Plax during the superbowl run he was a deep threat

Steelers had santonio holmes

Saints had colston and meechum

??? you think teams were dinking and dunking there way to the superbowl on all occasions?

I'm talking about a stud, clear cut #1 WR. You can say it for Plax..Holmes and Wayne are iffy..I would say no to Meachem and Colston, Hines Ward is good, but not someone you need to always double. We've won without Moss and we can again. In my eyes, we dont need him to win

you did go to the superbowl the first year you got him and was one win away from being named "best team in Nfl H-I-S-T-O-R-Y"

i wonder how many vikings fans bought fresh 84 jerseys
I still have my original... still a true Vikings fan but for this news and this season... Damn you Brett Favre... should have got a QB in the draft or traded for someone of caliber... c'est la vie... focused on the Lakers now that the Yanks are done and the Vikings seem that way the way they are playing... Football season has been so disappointing this year

You said look at the recent super bowl winners did any of them have a deep threat on them

Colts had wayne
Saints had colston and meachem both deep threats
Giants had Plax deep threat
Steelers had holmes deep threat

if you want to debate the importance of a clear cut stud #1 receiver thats a different convo but you said deep threat

i agree with you that the patriots can win without moss there showing it right now. You can't downplay the importance of a good reliable deep threat in the run to the superbowl though.

there is a difference between winning in October and winning in the super bowl

the patriots look good right now in my opinion they may not need randy moss because of the system they are using right now; However most super bowl winning teams in recent memory in a now pass oriented league have deep threats.

Yeah I said deep threat I meant clear cut, top tier #1 WR..thats my bad.

I love Moss, but I'd prefer to keep our team as is right now..Although it sounds like he really wants to come back, just dont know if he can contain his ego

I dunno why that cracked me up.

I think Jets are one of the interested teams, according to ESPN, but I doubt that's happening.

My guess is the Seahawks

Randy Moss' name didnt appear on today's NFL Waiver Wire. Soonest he could be waived is Tuesday, but Moss still has not been told he's gone.

watch vikings owner nix the waiver and instead fire childress. Might as well let frazier run the team
That will be the smartest move. Leslie Frazier is a beast with that defense. He'll be Mike Tomlin 2.0
