Where I live, those figures are about right. If you're single with no kids, some of the figures could be less. I lived in a middle-class apartment complex for $500 a month. My income at the time was close to $2500 a month. I did very well. My monthly expenses weren't over $1000. Then again, I was cheap as f**k too.
Not over $1,000 a month. And you're rent was $500. So your other expenses didn't come to over $500 a month? wtf..lol

I find that hard to believe. Did you have a car? Because a car note, car insurance, gas, plus maintenance will be over $500 a month alone. We're not even counting other expenses like bills, groceries, etc.

Regardless of being cheap as f**k. You still have the necessities which will run over $1,000 a month.

u really should step into the real world my friend mcDonald store managers make that money some clear 200k.. i personally know GMs that make 125 from mcDonalds in Ny...like dude before u said it matters where u live nyc cost of living is waaaaay higher than alot of other places..i dont want to work for mcdonalds but alot of people be like mcdonalds dont pay blah blah but the fact is when motherf**kaz eat that s**t for breakfast lunch and dinner u pretty much how a safe job plus the bonuses alot of them make over 10mil each in the tristate area
I would a.ssume that is for the store owner but again that is just a.ssuming. Cost of living is crazy in SD and store managers don't make no where near that much. Many McDonalds are franchised though so the franchise owner could make that much.

Yeah I'm like WTF??

If someone is making 100K a year then they should be living great. These n*ggas talk like 6 figure jobs come that easy. I only know about cost of living in The South. Lived in California for a minute but it was out in Oxnard County which aint too far from LA.

But down here......I know families that only pull in maybe 40-45K together husband and wife and they doing good.

My uncle lives in Marietta, GA making 65-70K has a huge house, 2 cars, 2 motorcycles and his just doing the damn thing. 100K aint nothing??? n*gga please.
are you retarded. 100k isn't hard to attain if your smart. but i like your thinking, the more n*ggas settle for less the more money i make in the future.

do you have a 100k job? if not, then gtfoh. i'm not for settling, but you gotta be realistic, not many people in the 18-30 age bracket are pulling that kind of money, especially in an economy with high unemployment.

30k will pay the bills. Unfortunately to be living comfortably you gotta at least be in the mid 40's to 50k per year. Also where you live will make a huge difference.

shiiiittt...if you can even find a job now. Lots of places have cut salaries to around 24k per year for most entry level jobs. Unless your doing accounting, nursing or something of higher education the average salary ur gonna get is between 24k-30k per year. Or at least for the jobs ive seen.

exactly, it's hard enough finding an entry level job right now, let alone finding one that pays even more than in the 30-40k range (keep in mind i'm not talking about ny/la cost of living, just regular america). these dudes are living in a fantasy world if they think a 100k job is not hard to come by.

My car was paid for. Car insurance was about $80 a month (liability). Groceries was about $200 a month. Gas and Electricity would always come up to $50 together. I spent about $25 a week on gas. Cable/Internet = Free (Not gonna mention how that was done).
I need to move.

When I got a quote for my car insurance it was about $650 a month for full coverage. About $200 for liability, Texas has the highest rates out there. I had never been in an accident, never even gotten a ticket. But I'm also only 22...still that's a rip off.

Idk how the hell you're gas + electric bill = $50/month. Living in a sweat box lol

glad my pops has a paralegal bussines which is his own business just waitin for me to take it over

right now i live in nc n if u make anywhere from 700-900 a check u can live comfy

but if u make 1000- n up u pretty much ballin at sum point during the month so if u pick a month to save u will be ballin da rest of da year becuz bills never change wen u save u get ahead

most ppl that make good money often are stuck paying loans back thats why a guy makin 26-30k a year wit no extra s**t but bills to pay can live comfy n splurge alil

da more u make the more they take unless ur self-owned

I make about 14k a year in FL. Thats a $9.25/hr job at around 30-35 hours a week.

Electricity - 90
Gas (car) - 50
Rent - 500
Internet/tv - 105
groceries - 200
car insurance - 90
student loan - 90

Good thing my wife works so it adds in to another 10k a year or so cuz her hours are even less than mine atm.

If you're a single, no kids living in a city with reasonable prices makin 24K a year, you could live very comfortably without a bunch of unnecessary bills.

satellite cable bill $80
cellphone $60
lights $30
energy $50
gas monthly $100-150
food $300

If you make 2Gs a month you can do very well. And start some nice savings.
who do you know that has to pay 30 a month for the light bill/electricity?

and 60 a month for a cell bill? not even senior citizens get it that good with these damn phone companies
