thats my point tho

he played when hand checking was allowed

and he played when hand checking wasnt allowed

and he scored more points when hand checking was allowed

so what makes you think that just because hand checking isnt allowed now that all of the sudden jordan transforms into this mythical beast that would drop 100 on n*ggas heads?

and its not the highest ppg scored ever. . .wilt got that

smarten up
Actually they are both tied with 30.1 ppg for their respective careers, those two years he wasted with the Wizards were bad for business, but I respect and understand the love for the game. So I guess you can say they both can say whether or not it can be done, I think we know what Wilt would say, and Michael has spoken. They are the only ones that know and could sense such a thing, cause they are the only ones that know what it takes to have the leagues highest ppg average, anybody else speaking is a spectator and your on the outside looking in, and you should be quiet. Experience vs. no experience, 2 Ears and 1 mouth. The GOAT has spoken, Listen.

n*gga this is not an argument over who is the best Rapper, it's statistics to back up his GOAT status. To argue with this guy, who is the best to ever do what you are discussing statistically and numbers wise, I mean I apply math to every situation and it just does not add up. You really would look this man in his eyes and tell him he could not do something he said he could do on the basketball court and expect him to even consider you opinion, Phil could not do that I heard him say it, and I don't think you would anyway, and please show me the same courtesy. Got Dammit I Said The Goat Has Spoken, No Bargaining or Arguing with The Undisputed Undeniable Goat.

He never missed and he never loss that is what I will tell my kids about him, why you ask, cause that's what the f**k I remember. Born Dec.12 1983, I bared witness.

Someones obviously jealous of the 81

Jordan needs to know he wont be guarded by slow white boys and undersized guards
with the hand check now enforced even more, its the same thing... jordan could go through the contact, hit the shot and get an extra free throw... Y'all seem to forget he dropped 69 before the hand check was enforced... but hey we will never know....

he played after the hand check was introduced too but by then he was old lol but the way the Lakers got to the line in that game 7, MJ could have dropped 100 on the Nets or Warriors, hell maybe my Suns too :rofl2:

BUT

Until Jordan's grandkids are born cuz his talent obviously skipped his sons....

How many free throws did D. Wade get in the finals that one year?? Yeah MJ in his prime ended up being way more protected than Wade, so i could see him getting at least 30 free throws in one game at least...lol...

There are some ether status stats in this thread The entire LEAGUE average 110 points and 49% shooting during his career high game?

But the Jordan d!ckriding train is an unstoppable force, so let it continue *Inserts GOAT status comment and earplugs to block out rationale*
This is the most compelling stat. I'd like to see a Jordan rider comment on this.

too many variables. If he were the player at the ability he was at his peak today, it's possible, but the game would not be what it is had he not changed it, and if someone else had, it would still be different and he would have still adapted to the game and brought it even further. Thanks again, Mike.

i think he could.i think people underestimate how competitive he was.all he would need is one person to say "you cant score 100 in a game" and he wouldnt stop trying til he did it.this league is softer but a whole lot more athletic though.i know this for sure, itd be entertaining as f**k

That rationale is terrible. Him scoring 50 as a 40 year old means absolutely nothing with respect to what he'd do as a 30 year old.

Plus specialists imply a single standout defender on a team.. Whereas now coaches can scheme to stop players instead of hoping that 1 player can stop them..

In what world do you see Ray Allen or Paul Pierce doing a good job defending a player like Lebron or Kobe? Especially considering they were both mediocre defenders for nearly their entire careers. The direction the league has been going towards is a greater impact on coaching team defense versus specialists on a handful of teams.
Yea thats right Jordan wouldnt score 100 because these defenses are geared to stop 1 man like Lebron and Kobe, n*gga you a f**king idiot, you think defenses in Jordans era were geared to stop John Paxson, Ron Harper, BJ Armstrong... You claim your a old head, did YOU EVER watch Jordan play or were you just alive during his time in the league... Like Jordan didnt face Double and Triple teams all the time... Like they didnt send defenders over to cut off Jordans lane when he drove to the hole...

But thats how Jordan handled it, l
ook how much contact Starks and Oakley had on mike.. In todays league that play is blown dead as soon as Starks reached out and grabbed Jordans arms.

Kobe is a better scorer than Jordan
Really cause every stat in the book disagrees with that... Jordan was always the no.1 option take that into consideration and he damn near always shot 50% from the field, Kobe has always been the 2nd option and he only shot 50% from the field NEVER...

Look at Jordans FG %

Look at Kobe's FG%

Stupid n*ggas i swear man...

 abstractq said:
teams scored more back then

they shot a much better percentage

that = a defensive league?
\

nahhhhhhhhhhhhh

Idiots like yourself wont understand the difference of the game today and back in the day, you just throw up these stupid "110 Points a game" "49% from the field" s**t.. and then think n*ggas didnt play defense....
