His numbers are not too great at all, he gets yards but that is about it, would you consider him an improvement over the last few years?
Last Year was by far Eli's best year?

Our Defense was a joke, due to injuries/cordinator and kept us out of games.

So no, this year has no been a an improvement over last year for Eli.

Not yet.

So again why get all excited when the balanced Texans offense is coming to town? You guys need to score to win this game, the only thing positive is the fact that the division is horrible and anyone can take it. The Bears play calling was horrible too so in your words that wasn't good defense from the Giants.
How was the Bears play calling horrible?

Cutler never even got the chance to deliver the ball... Our Wolves were all over him. 9 Sacks in the first half?

How can the Bears Playcalling be blamed for that?

Boley had Olsen locked up all game. And the Corners and Saftey's had the WR's well covered.

@ everyone acting like last night was all on some sort of strange appirition in the trench.

No.

Our Defense played incredibly, from the front to the back.

And We're Excited because last night was probably the single most dominant defensive performance we have had in a game since we blanked the Vikings in the NFC Championship in 2000.

Why should we not be excited about doing that? Against a 3-0 team which had shown an ability to make things happen against 2 very good teams(Cowboys & Packers).

What should we be? Depressed?

The Offensive Play calling has to get better... But as long as our Defense can step up and get stops, we'll always be in the game.

That's NY Giants Football, for the past 80 something years.

@ Seriously asking why we're exicted after last night.

Na, those are the final stats. He had like one 40 yard run at the end of the game when the Defense had given up and it was over...

At one point near the end of the game, Johnson had like 80 yards on 28 Carries or some s**t.
Oh for real. I missed that game - and just looked at the stats after...Either way CJ didn't run all over them. 3.9 per carry is not bad against a RB of his caliber...

Well put mang...Last night's game kinda reminded me of the 07 team, with the D beating, and O just getting enough for us to win...A W is A W, no matter how you look at it.

A win is a win no doubt, just found the brag topic a little excessive, there is already one on the game. I don't think the Bears called a good game but hey there is no excuses in this league.

Oh yeah, maybe a little excessive. I mean there were things about last night's game to be excited about, and there were things to be upset about. I think a lot of Giants fans (myself included) are happy to see the defense actually do something.

Can we keep it up??? That is the question. And now we're struggling on O. The Bear's D was good last night, but we still seem to make a ton of mistakes. If we're going to contend/make a run for the playoffs, we'll need the D to play keep this up, and we need our offense to stop the stupid mistakes, score in the red zone, and hold on to the ball.

We at least can say that they took a step in the right direction. Let's hope they can build off the win last night.

Gilbride... Gilbride... Gilbride... Gilbride... Gilbride... Gilbride...

We had the ball on their 30 yard line like 3 times last night, due to turnovers or whatever, and everytime, this f**ken Gilbride implodes. His play calls are so predicable, and don't differ at all from previous games. All you have to do is watch the game tape and you'll know what we are going to do...

Like this:

Giants have the ball at the oppenants 30

1st Down: A TE/WR Screen that will get blown up after 2 yards.

2nd Down: A Shotgun RB Draw for Bradshaw, stopped after 1 yard.

3rd Down and 7: A call for Pass to Steve Smith where the Route only goes 6 yards.

^^^That's not a parody. That's exactly what happens every single time we get into the redzone. No throws to the endzone. No slants. No fades. Nothing.

It's the same f**ken s**t, every f**ken time.

And this is after Nicks caught 3 TD's the first week, because everytime they got to the redzone, they threw it in his direction and he caught it no matter what.

It's like they just completely forgot about this, and Gilbride became super conservative.

Gilbride.

you do realize eli changes the play at scrimmage alot of the time right?

Fam, stop it... Just stop it.

There is no defending it any more. And anyone who continues to make excuses, or give outs for Gilbride, are adding the reason why this guy continues to slide by.

We need to stand together, on some "Tiki, get the f**k out of the stadium" s**t from last night.

Gilbride, and his stale a.ss playbook is the problem. Has been the problem for 2 years.

Do you know how many f**ken Screens we've run this year?

Don't get me started... I'm getting pissed... Let's dead it.

you're just a typical delusional NY sports fan.. cutler ran out of bounds behind the line of scrimmage for 2 of those sacks.. and more times than not ur sacks were from cutler not throwing to the open short man and staring down field for the home run on EVERY pass play.. its very well known that he wont throw short..

next week you will be put back in your place when u play a team with a run game and a great passer combined with the best WR in the league.. actually the giants WRs should bring a notepad so they jot down some tips on catching the ball

well shyt if the Giants gave the game to the Titans then we gave the game to the Bears and Redskins then and we should be 3-0 right now instead of 1-2
