Can't agrue the rules it may be stupid but even showed the head of the refs and he himself said the catch was made but the act wasn't completed, no way you can agrue that.

well if u go by the exact rules "the player must have complete control of the ball after hitting/falling to the ground" so really he needed to hold on to it to be a catch.

Of course the head honcho of NFL slappies Mike Pereira is gonna ride or die with WHATEVER the refs do and he'll NEVER question a rule. Some men are gutless cowards and he's one of them along with any analyst/commentator that agrees with that call in fear or NFL backlash, namely Joe Buck.

Only an idiot or a Bears fan can try and rationalize that nonsense. What part about catching a ball, getting two feet, an a.ss, a knee and an elbow down isn't maintaining possession? He let go of the ball GETTING UP. What WR have you ever seen that catches the ball, goes to the ground and continues to cradle the ball until the refs takes it from his hands?
