That's not even near the worst call in the last 2 years. He should have kept the ball in his hands. I thought receivers knew you had to keep position even when you the ground for it to be a TD.

disgusting... but I guess he should've just held on to the ball the whole way instead of using his Swagger rating.

He made the catch but you gotta complete the action, stupid rule but the rules are the rules.
Stop.

The action was completed. He caught the ball...got both feet down...a knee down, his a.ss own and an elbow down. He let the ball go as he was getting up.

None of those refs deserve to live and neither do the people who came up with that ridiculous rule.

No.. If it's in the endzone.. all u gotta do is maintain possession, with 2 feet down..
I thought it was also homie but during the game the head of the nfl refs came in and said himself that you have to maintain possession, and complete the action he just shoulda gotten up with the ball instead of letting it go, then it would have been called a td.

thats the point by definition of the rule book he never maintained possession through the action of the catch...........he made the catch but he let the ball touch the ground

Can't agrue the rules it may be stupid but even showed the head of the refs and he himself said the catch was made but the act wasn't completed, no way you can agrue that.

well if u go by the exact rules "the player must have complete control of the ball after hitting/falling to the ground" so really he needed to hold on to it to be a catch.

Of course the head honcho of NFL slappies Mike Pereira is gonna ride or die with WHATEVER the refs do and he'll NEVER question a rule. Some men are gutless cowards and he's one of them along with any analyst/commentator that agrees with that call in fear or NFL backlash, namely Joe Buck.

Only an idiot or a Bears fan can try and rationalize that nonsense. What part about catching a ball, getting two feet, an a.ss, a knee and an elbow down isn't maintaining possession? He let go of the ball GETTING UP. What WR have you ever seen that catches the ball, goes to the ground and continues to cradle the ball until the refs takes it from his hands?
