Boxing is a lot more technical then MMA.
It is 1 specific skill set compared to MMA f!ghters having to have multiple skill sets. A lot of these guys are average at multiple disciplines but that gets them through matches so they can use their strengths.
I am probably one of the bigger MMA fans on this board so don't call me a hater either...
Not true... Not in the UFC... Maybe some are average at a lot of things... But look at the BEST MMA f!ghter...
Anderson Silva... EXTREMELY technical Muay Thai, as well as top flight BJJ
Dan Henderson... Olympic Wrestler
Rashad Evans... D1 Wrestler
Brock Lesnar... All-American MONSTROUS wrestler
GSP... Ridiculously technical in all aspects of his game
BJ Penn... World Class Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.
The correct way to describe it... Is that most of the MMA f!ghters are EXTREMELY developed in one aspect of their game... and average at everything else
