gnc, vitamine shoppe. its kinda pricey tho.

the best formula for muscle mass is have ur general whey in the daytime along with casein protein before u sleep.

the hyrdowhey im talking about is absorbed into your muscles at a faster rate and is one of the highest quality of protein out there.

If you're trying to gain muscle mass, and you're pretty skinny/lean at the moment, definitely go with a mass gainer (a protein supp loaded with extra carbs and fat that is a lot higher in calories than straight protein powder).

i like syntha 6 by bsn. just my preference. i have true mass which is bsn too. but i don't take it much anymore. i prolly will start up after october though.

anyway amazon usually has good prices

hydrosylate is suppose to be the most purest form of protein and is absorbed into ur blood streams faster. then the next best form of protein would by isolate, and then concentrate being the cheapest form cause the higher fat/carb content it has.

having a fast acting protein during the day and a slow acting protein like casein is the best approach, when ur just talking about protein alone imo.

ON does not disclose the degree of hydrolysis so we do not know the percentage of di- and tri-peptides (usually >20% on ultra grade HPI before it becomes to bitter). It is priced accordingly now.

What your saying is PeptoPro (Hydrolyzed Caseinate) > Hydrolyzed Whey Protein Isolates...

Summing up: Hydrolysates are not only not superior to intact protein in terms of providing amino acids to skeletal muscle, they are distinctly inferior. Their fast digestion speed leads to greater digestive losses, more oxidation via deamination and provides less amino acids to skeletal muscle. That’s on top of tasting like vomit. Future directions

As far as sports nutrition is concerned, protein hydrolysates, usually produced from whey or casein protein, are generally not used as meal replacements. Rather, athletes use these products to induce rapid increases in plasma amino acids around workouts (i.e., before, during and after workouts), which may maximize muscle protein anabolism and facilitate recovery. However, there are no studies comparing the effects of whey or casein protein hydrolysates and respective intact proteins on skeletal muscle anabolism in healthy athletes.

Ideally, such studies should reflect a real-life situation. That is, protein supplements should be ingested before, during and/or after exercise. Also, a realistic "strength-power diet" (i.e., a diet high in calories and protein) should be followed by the subjects. A high-quality protein hydrolysate containing mostly di-and tripeptides should be used. The proportion of di- and tripeptides appears to determine absorption kinetics, and in turn, it is the kinetics of the absorption (rather than the net absorption of amino acids) that determines the greater nutritional value of the protein hydrolysates.
