A movie coming out and being better then its predecessor does not make the previous movie worse.
Why can't both of the Batman films you mentioned be classics? Only one is aloud to be a classic? I don't understand that logic. Also imo Heaths performance>Jacks performance and you can say I only think that way because Heath died before I saw his performance and you may be correct but we'll never know because I can't watch it with a mind state that he didn't die, because he did. Either way, I think it has a lot to do with the type of Joker that each of them played. Heaths was a lot darker and I prefer that type of villain over a zany comical villain.
Also about Scarface as I said I thought the movie was garbage and PLENTY of gangster movies have come out after that that were much better. The Departed for instance s**ts all over Scarface.
a classic is something that is timeless..decades can pass and u can still watch the movie like it came out yesterday.
dark knight has not had enough time pass to determine if its a classic. the word classic is thrown around way too easily.
the star wars series is classic (the first 3 anyway)..ur gonna compare its luster to the f**king batman begins series? come on.
