huge eminem fan... and you u put it amazingly.
i listened to mmlp this whole week and you can there is a huge smile behind is face through each track on that album. Those were some good times in eminems life.
but now after the death of his brother/best friend proof. he is reallly crippled inside and does not have the fire he used to. The only track on recovery that sounded like he was reallly trying/putting his emotions in was the tribute to proof.
i think eminem should retire with this classic album. Go out like jordan (as he should have with the bulls) and not put a subpar album (wizards). Retire on top.
Every crappy album that he puts out from now on will just ruin his legacy.
I'm not a stan, but I'm gonna have to respectfully disagree, I think this was an experimental album where Em wanted to test different flows, and producers and its still a quality album, Recovery. I'd give Recovery an 7/10 if he released it after the TES era, and the rap game that was going on during TES, and unfortunately cause of the awful music of today, this recovery album is a 9/10 or 10/10, just because of the surrounding music to compare Em to. If he calms down, and just goes back to producing himself, and somehow finding some of dres good beats (that he has hidden in his catalog somewhere) dre hasn't made a "great" beat in years, but I think Eminem has a few quality albums left, and they will be better than Recovery, music wise, and song wise, but I don't think Em has much to talk about anymore, and much to get emotional about, and you guys are right, Em has never really had whole songs dedicated to how much "swag" he's got, and all that s**t, so hopefully Eminem stops singing his hooks, and starts spittin his hooks like he used to, and going hard on some dark beats...im telling you Alchemist toured with Em as his DJ, them 2 need to get together, Alchemist makes some nice dark beats, that remind me of what Em used to spit on. 1.
