i cant believe i just read thru 9 pages...

lol ... i love football and im new to Boxden so i was just seeing what you people think when it comes to football.

im a Giants fan and i gotta agree we could be the best young wr squad out there but idk bout all nfl...

not yet... soon we will be there. seriously.

Whoever mentioned Sinorice Moss... do you really watch football? LOL...

I had hopes for Moss... 3 years ago. Anyway... Ramses Barden is the sleeping giant on our team, he is a lil taller then Plax and he is a rookie. He didnt really know the playbook last year. I think the Giants should utilize him in some game situations, im not interested in seeing him taking over the ropes for Smith, Nicks or Manningham... Manningham i hope doesnt bobble 5 out 10 balls thrown his way...he would catch most of em after the bobble atleast lol.

anyway it doesnt matter what team you people like, its almost that time... football is the best thing to come around every year. imo

just watch....Maclin will emerge this season, Philly has potential to be great...D Jax, Maclin, Avant, Baskett, Riley Cooper....throw in Celek as another target and it opens things up more....Avant is very underrated imo, if he gets a chance to play a little more you guys will see what im talking about...Philly's staff loves him...Baskett is there cause he is knows the system...Riley Cooper could be like a Julian Edelman to me or maybe even a Welker if he can shine...i see fairly good depth there for Kolb to start off...might not be the best but they aint bad at all

I need somebody to explain the Colts, Saints and Cowboys as top wr corps candidates.
To me when you're talking about the best WR Corps you have to take their QB into account. If you don't take the QB into account then you have a valid argument but Peyton Manning and Drew Brees are geniuses.

 Fly 2ndComing said:
If you take your clown a.ss back and read you would see I said the Packers had the best WR corps in the league. The Ravens and Jets are the next two in line IN MY OPINION.
Let me educate you about the world. Everybody doesnt agree for whatever reasons that may be, It doesnt mean the world will end. You choose to d!ckride your Saints who you just became a fan of when they won the title, thats fine I have no problem with that.
You can even d!ckride the Colts as well just because of Manning and One WR Reggie Wayne. Nobody in the league is afraid of Garcon or Collie, just the QB.

The Jets are all of a sudden the best? HAAA. Braylon "Stone Hands" Edwards and Santonio Holmes does not equal best corps or even close. ESPECIALLY with Sanchez as the QB.

Speaking of no one being afraid of Collie and Garcon...tell that do the Jets, cause they f**ked them up BAD in the AFC Championship. Both had big games, and each had a TD. Along with Dallas Clark f**king them up too. Revis did a good job on Wayne but the rest of that Jets D was getting torched.

The Colts are nice, but outside of Wayne and Clark the other three are unproven. This debate is about WR cores as a whole not a Pro Bowler with a few no name dudes.

He did and I expect him, Collie, and Gonzales to continue to shine as long as Peyton's pulling the trigger.

no its not

1. saints - respect given... nuff said.. im not giving it all to brees
2. pats - moss, holt, and welker... nuff said.. im not buying the OLD WR excuse
3. jets - edwards, holmes, tomlinson, cotchery... they got 2 game breaking WRs
4. colts - always solid but collie and garcon need to prove more than 1 hot season
5. vikings - shaincoe, barrian, rice, harvin, lewis

lets see your list... im picking the list of teams that will ACTUALLY go deep in the playoffs this year... you can bring your cowgirls or cardinals if you want to...
Good list except the Jets....I would replace them with Green Bay. While Holmes and Cotchery are solid and consistent Braylon is an underachiever with his questionable hands which takes away from the group. Holmes is new addition and is suspended the first few games. Keller was only a rookie last season so he has more to prove. Nevertheless good list....with explanations to support.

co-sign. Holmes is nasty, but missing the first 4 games. Cotchery's nice for being a 3rd WR, but I'm still not too big on Braylon. Plus GB has to be up there with their crew
