Ginn will always be a threat every time he touches the football in the return game, but trust me, he's absolutely horrible as a WR. He's a threat whenever he beats the jam which is rare, and he'll give you the occasional big play down the field, but overall he's horrible. Should step it up a bit playing alongside Crabtree with Davis on the field as well, but I doubt he becomes much more than the once in a while homerun threat.
Crabtree and Vernon Davis are MONSTERS though! As an unbiased outsider who can care less.... I'm going to be very excited to watch SF whenever they're on TV.
the thing is tho, Ted Ginn is only 25 years old. he still has a chance to unbust and become productive, that said i dont have high hopes because im not a fool, i'm a realist.
u forgot about josh morgan who is a very nice #2 receiver.
and even if Ginn is only a return man, we have 3-4 rookies right now. if just 1 of them busts out, we are damn nice and deep at the position.
really we dont even need to be that deep tho because we are a running team. crabtree, vernon, morgan, and walker is ample alone for our scheme.
