You don't need to be rooted though, just know what widgets to get and pick a launcher, you should be good..

Def don't need to be rooted

ust get a theme launcher like Nova or GO but I personally use Apex Launcher

Man you guys make my set up look like a.ss. You don't find the Launchers decrease your battery too much? I've wanted to try the Go Launcher but I am afraid it will k!ll my battery.

It ain't the launchers, it's widgets that k!ll your battery from refreshing all the time n sh*t and activites..
