Rany Jazayerli @jazayerli -

Uh, everyone? Strasburg may have done something tonight that's never been done before: he struck out 14 batters and threw just 94 pitches.

Every 5th game so you can still take 3 out of 4 from the Nats till they get like 4 more #1 picks.

yea that was a sick debut, cant hate on that... but lets be real, most teams have problems with pitchers they never seen before... but thats a nice boost for the nats who actually look decent this year.. their gonna be like the rays were years ago, terrible untill all them number #1 picks developed

yeah he will no doubt be a great pitcher, but once teams start seeing him on film and seeing that his "slurve" is 20+ mph slower then his fastball, he will level off a bit. people were saying that harper was at least 3 years away from making the majors though.

It's actually nice to see the Nats doing good. I mean sure it would be nice to have a team in the division that blows consistently (most divisions have them) but it's also nice to have a solid division top to bottom.

Tim Kurkjian called him the greatest hitter in 20 years. Hitters take longer to get up through the minors, so three years is probably right (since he probably won't play this year).

I didn't really follow that team but I did notice the hype this afternoon, ESPN was hyped but now I came back home and I got a feeling he didn't choke. I heard kid will be legendary or some s**t like that from the ESPN hype, did he show signs of that?.

It's fairly gay that he just admitted to jumping on a team's bandwagon. I thought fans were supposed to stick with their team through the ups and downs? Not just jump on when they see the future may be bright..........
