I really like the upper body weight training routine...perfect blend of weights and conditioning to keep the heart rate high. Damn near impossible to do 3x a week tho...more like once a week realistically.
^^you think doing it 3 times a week would be effective?

^^k cool, yeah i lost a lot of my muscle thus far while doing insanity. Well mainly my upper body strength. My lower body was always my strong point, so i haven't lost any strength there.

If you don't have a regular weight lifting schedule than 2-3x a week is fine on top of Insanity and I highly recommend it.


@Kooper..I think there is a hybrid p90x/Insanity calender you can find online that shows you how to stack both together and get away with it. Good luck on week 1

edit: Its an asylum/p90x hybrid but I think if you look hard enough you can find an insanity/p90x calender
or just replace the asylum workouts with insanity ones...

i think im reaching the point that my body is like just tired in general. I'm really looking forward to finishing insanity so my joints can get a rest. Idk but i dont feel as pumped as i use to feel, i guess im just burnt out. Damn

^^^ Personally I think you're eating too much. Just my opinion. Everyone is different. I only eat two meals a day. I don't eat breakfast. Lunch is usually boneless chicken brea$t/veggies or fish/veggies. Whichever I don't have for lunch I do for dinner. Or I might do a protein shake for lunch. Or even oatmeal. Between lunch and dinner. I'll eat nuts or fruit. I haven't worked out in about a month. I'm still losing weight.
