If you have muscle in your legs and you're not a woman then it's always gonna be a struggle. I've done it multiple times and although I've gotten a bit better I always feel like my legs are tree trunks and I literally cannot lift them at a certain point

^^hmm, i didn't think of that. My legs are the strongest on my body, and while doing the switch kicks it feels as if they are glued to the fu*king floor. You sure not being able to do the switch kicks has to do with having too much muscle in the legs tho???

When I started p90x the first time I was 5'9 223 followed the meal down to a T for a month in a half and I was 186. I yoyod up and down tho. I'm 189 now

Whenever insanity comes in I'm gonna stack it with hd fat burners and p90x

Following everything exact as far as the diet.

Brody had a p90x thread but it died down after he rolled his ankle gettin crossed

Idk for me it feels that way, remember everything in insanity works your legs. We've all said we've lost some muscle in our arms but every workout I bet everyone's legs are burning a little bit. But like I said eventually you can do a little more cause you learn to lift a heavier weight but that sh*t still feels like dead weight at some point to me and I need to stop. Doing those leg lift exercises during the cardio abs where you push your legs out/in and then up/down ruin me every time.

if you want you can ice them later on to feel better.

**edit: also make sure you wearing the appropriate type of shoes. It can make a big difference

QUESTION......


i just watched the Upper Body Weight Training dvd.......at the end Shaun T said you can do it 3 times a week. Do any of you guys do this dvd???

In the dvd they basically worked ALLL the upper body muscles in about 40 mins. It looks mad intense if you keep pace.

today was Max Recovery. Idk, but is it jsut me or is max recovery harder that the actual workout dvds? At times bc i had to hold a position for so long it became very hard on the muscles.

I usually do p90x abs...insane abs is insane tho! Felt muscles I never felt before, specifically on the sides of my pelvis.

I really like the upper body weight training routine...perfect blend of weights and conditioning to keep the heart rate high. Damn near impossible to do 3x a week tho...more like once a week realistically.
