I was wrong about RGIII. I went off stereotypes about him being a black QB that could run. I finally saw him play (OKLA/Baylor game) He's a solid QB - reminds me of Michael Vick from last year. I think he would do well in Washington even if the offense doesn't improve much since he's used to playing with less talented teams. I don't think Jones would play as well since they are surrounded around star WRs and OL. With that being said, I'd go with RGIII in the first round

I'm sure Barkley will come back to USC next year to contend for the Pac-12/National Championship/Heisman/opportunity to be 1st overall pick in next year's draft.

I just wonder how the Redskins can improve the offensive line since they locked Chester & Jamaal Brown into 5 year deals. Grubbs would be a good fit for Washington since he played for the OL coach a few years ago. I guess drafting a C would be good. Any of you think Ryan Harris would be fully healthy next year?

I'd go with Donta Hightower in the 2nd. Can't go wrong with Bama defensive player these days.

I'd go with my old classmate/teammate Casey Hayward in the 3rd

With Barkley going back that instantly makes RG3 the premier 2nd QB in the draft (considering he declares).. now here comes the question.. what do the redskins do.. obviously RG3 is a target for other teams (I.E. Cleveland from reports) and were sitting in the 7 spot.. I'm all for a trade down.. hell maybe even twice if we can get down to say 15 and then down to 23 we can still get a premier player while picking up potentially 2 second rounders.. We could also still take Tannehill in the 23 spot since i doubt he goes before then. Yea hes a reach, but so was Ponder and hes looking good. Sometimes you have to take your chance, Cutler wasn't suppose to go where he went and hes a damn good QB.. I'm thinking this.

(i will do 3 different ones, 1 without a trade. 2 with only one trade down. 3rd one will be with 2 trade downs)

1st scenerio.

R1 (7th Overall) - Dre Kirkpatrick/Riley Reiff - The right side of the offensive line has looked beyond HORRIBLE.. Jamaal Brown has to be the worst re sign ive seen in a while, but was a needed resign. If not Reiff then i think Dre Kirkpatrick. Hes a big physical CB someone who can bump and run and just lock down a teams number 1. Not to mention hes 6'3 which is good to have for the bigger receivers.

Actual Pick for this Mock Riley Reiff

R2 - Ryan Tannehill QB / Kelechi Osemele G - If we go Dre Kirkpatrick in the 1st round then all i think is we go G or T in the 2nd round. Osemele is one of the premier Gs on the board at this point. Zebrie Sanders is a stretch i think we can do better than him build from inside out. Now if we go Oline then we should go QB in Ryan Tannehill. He Fits our scheme just as much as RG3, but is more raw than RG3. Skins get their QB to work on.

Actual pick for this Mock Ryan Tannehill

R3 - Nate Potter G/T - Michael Brewster OC - Obviously Oline is a serious need.. Wouldn't be mad if we took either one even if we took Oline first 2 rounds. Nate Potter is a utlility man who in my opinion could play either the guard or tackle position and hes a senior on boise state so hes got playing time.

Actual pick for this Mock Nate Potter

R4- Juron Criner WR / Kendall Reyes, DE/DT - Juron Criner would be my primary pick right here. The Redskins need that big time 6'4-6'5 WR and Criner is the best on the board right now take him and now our WR core looks pretty good. If he is not on the board then we should look Kendall Reyes to help with our rotation on our defensive line Carriker is a FA and Jarvis is coming off a injury which i hope we don't rush him back into.

R4- Casey Heyward CB/ Kenny Tate, SS - Casey Heyward will more than likely be gone by at least the 3rd so for this pick I'm looking Kenny Tate. He needs to drop that fu*king weight and get back to his main position saftey. This can actually improve our saftey position along with OJ,Landry (UFA), Gomes.

R5 - Tank Carder ILB - This right here is a straight up high motor high character pick. Tank is a non stop motor type player who has had a down year and can still play in our 3-4 system.

R6 - BPA - OLINE
R7 - BPA - OLINE

MOCK NUMBER 2 (With 1 Trade down)

R1 Pick 7 - (Redskins trade down in the first round to Seattle Seahawks who Take Landry Jones)

R1 Pick 15 - David DeCastro, G - This may be the toughest pick and people more than likely won't understand, but DeCastro is the best player on this board right now at position of high need. Plug him in next to Trent Williams and now we have a young dominant Left side of the line.

R2 - Ryan Tannehill QB - This is the redskins original pick and with this they still get their Franchise QB. Tannehill now has a Oline that can seemingly hold a damn block so he can sit for 1 year learn the system come in the next year while the Oline has hopefully meshed by now.

R2 (Seattle Pick) - Dwight Jones WR/ Kelechi Osemele, G - Dwight Jones is probably the pick i would love to snag right here because i think this guy could end up being the best WR in this class. Yes i just said that. He won't be there though for this picture, so im going with Kelechi Osemele so we can just straight up make this Oline dominant. Trent Williams - David DeCastro - ?? - Kelechi Osemele - ??.

R3 - Levy Adcock RT - This as you can see is a seriously heavy Oline draft and why shouldn't it be? Jamaal Brown has went south. One of the WORST off season signings, but then again it had to be made. Draft Levy and now you have a serious young group of guys to help make our oline one of the best in football.. One think i love about Levy is he brings a Nastiness to this line that is just as tough as Trents (more mature though).

R4 - Juron Criner WR - Now that the line is fixed (at least we hope) and we have our Franchise QB (we hope) we can focus on getting him a young weapon to develop with outside of Niles and Hankerson. Moss can now finish out his career in a skins uni and by the time hes finished out his contract then Criner and Hankerson should be up to speed on the offense and NFL speed. Hankerson already has shown he can get open and catch balls now we need to see him do that against number ones if he can't drafting another WR to draw double teams or dominant the opponents number 2 corner is a good thing to have then.

R4 - Kenny Tate SS - Saftey position is looking like it may end up being a issue with OJ being hurt a lot this year and then with Landry also having health issues on top of being a UFA and then you have reed doughty who you do NOT want on the field for the entire game (hell more than 4 plays). Tate can drop the weight he gained to play OLB (fu*king stupid) and get back to his natural position.

R5 - Tank Carder ILB - This right here is a straight up high motor high character pick. Tank is a non stop motor type player who has had a down year and can still play in our 3-4 system.

R6 - BPA OLINE
R7 - BPA DLINE

Mock Number 3 (one with 2 trade downs)

R1 - (Trade down to pick number 15 to the seattle seahawks they take Landry Jones. Redskins trade back down to number 22 to the Cleveland Browns who select Trent Richardson)

R1 - Janoris Jenkins CB - i know i know he has Character issues, but he is the best player on the board right now at a position of need. Automatically best CB on our roster the min he steps on the field.

R2 - Ryan Tannehil QB - Franchise QB for a Franchise that is QBless.

R2 (Seattle) - Dwight Jones WR - For this mock im saying that Dwight slips and we should take him in a heart beat. Hes got size and speed. His hands are iffy, but that can be fixed.

R2 (Cleveland) - Kelechi Osemele, G - Best of both worlds we get a damn Good G who can take over for either Chester or Litch whichever sucks the most.

R3 - Michael Brewster C - well look a here a New G,C,QB,WR now our offense is looking much much better.

R4 - Tanner Hawkinson RT - Man the overhaul on this Oline that were doing right now is something special. So much athleticism and talent on this new line.

R4 - Kenny Tate S - Saftey position is looking like it may end up being a issue with OJ being hurt a lot this year and then with Landry also having health issues on top of being a UFA and then you have reed doughty who you do NOT want on the field for the entire game (hell more than 4 plays). Tate can drop the weight he gained to play OLB (fu*king stupid) and get back to his natural position.

R5 - Tank Carder ILB - This right here is a straight up high motor high character pick. Tank is a non stop motor type player who has had a down year and can still play in our 3-4 system.

R6 - BPA DLine
R7 - BPA OLine

useless wins at the end of the year, Barkley going back to school and Griffin might stay and try to make the Olympics

didn't want barkley anyways. no blonde hair blue eyed pretty boy qb's plz.

i used to not want black qb's either but rg3 has changed my opinion. i want the skins to draft him so bad. we gonna have to trade up to get him. and i don't care what it takes.

oh and nice a.ssessment on the last page lowkey.

can one of yall redskins fans tell me whats up with Santana? he's been catching TDs but seems like gaffney is getting more attention from grossman

trying to figure out who to play tomorrow
santana has been injured a lot. when healthy he is the #1 go to guy for rex and like you said he gets in the endzone. i would start sanatana.

minny is 30th in pass D. i expect a 300 yard passing game from rex (with at least 1 pick of course lol) and a big game from santana.

Best scenario for us is pray for the Colts to beat the Jags (which is possible since gabbert is some sh*t) and Rams lose out to Pitt/San Fran and scoop the top pick. Then they gotta trade the pick since they can't move Bradfords contract and basically its a bidding war for Luck and we offer whatever the fu*k is necessary because we might not have a opportunity like this again.

All that 2nd and 3rd round talk is great, but we still got a shot in the dark at Luck and getting a QB makes everything else seem irrelevant.

Lowkey put some work and I like those ideas, just not tryna acknowledge the possibility of rolling with Rex again, that sh*t literally gives me no hope for the 2012 season no matter how good our other moves are. We cant keep playing from behind in the turnover column and thats all Grossman is good for

Lmao, he absolutely has a better head on his shoulders. You shouldve checked the sportcenter piece they did on him, one of his closest friends is a little 6 year old girl suffering from a whole rack of diseases like cancer. Dude seems down to earth

I dont think hes got the elite measurables like Dez, but he got gamespeed and glue for hands. Blackmon is a faster Reggie Wayne IMO, would finally give us a legit #1 instead of forcing that role each year. Like I said, he's plan B til I actually see Luck in another jersey

Blackmon could be better than Dez.. But thats only because Dez holds himself back.

Also i think Tannehill could be a damn good QB, but i think he has to sit more than anyone else in this draft because he is so raw.

We need to build the line first and foremost the D is set outside of CB and depth at the Safety Position. We can get by with Fletcher for maybe a year or 2 because that guy is a monster. Nose Tackle i think is a need no one really notices because Cofield has been playing pretty good. Also wouldn't mind another OLB who is just a pass rushing specialist because ive only seen this i think maybe 5 times tops where they put both Orakpo and Kerrigan on the same side and rush both of them and its been effective everytime so if we were able to do that a few times a game and be able to get pressure from the other side then that would be so sweet.

the only thing that pains me about taking a WR is WR is effected by 2 of the positions we are so bad at in QB and OLINE. With a oline that can't block our QB gets either sacked or rushed into a bad decision.. with our sh*tty QB and a bad oline it just isnt a good combination not to mention its better to have a group of great receivers rather than 1 great receiver and a group of no namers.. Saints probably is the best example. No WR is GREAT all can win 1 on 1 matchups and do what they need to do.. thats all we need.
