the contract numbers next to the guys names i dont believe are correct because some contracts were redone to front load the money so that we will have money for FA this year.. smart move by the FO...

that is all the people that i would keep and use towards rebuilding our team..

IMO.. if we have a lockout most underclassmen will return to school.. so id stack up on draft picks next year.. give up our top 10 this year for a 1st and 2nd this year... then send out top 10 2nd round pick from this year to get a 1st rounder for next year.. leaving us with 3 1st Rounders for this deep draft... then ship cooley for a 2nd next year.. and Albert for a 3rd and 4th next year..

that way we would have

1st
1st
1st
2nd
2nd
3rd
3rd
4th
4th
5th

now we still have a 2nd - 5th - 6th - two 7ths this year..

in the off season sign Davin Joseph(who someone close to his GF was told that he wants to be a redskins only god knows why).. Sign Vincent Jackson

Resign Jamaal Brown - His Price should be MUCH lower since hes lil older and showed signs of injuries..

Resign Carlos Rodgers - only because i doubt we draft a corner

with our few picks in the 2nd round draft Hudson in the 2nd... Matt Szczur in 5th.. and BPA in the 6th n 7ths..

now with that DEEP a.ss 2012 draft you could protential stock pile our defense

even with the picks in the 3rd 4th rounds you would be getting higher value than normal due to the fact that there are a combination of 2 drafts..

But then you'll have a whole bunch of rookies.. You can't win with all rookies, plus I'm sure some if not most could become a bust.. Its a high risk game plan, but if it works out it won't be for years...

most of the rookie pics would be Defense.. and usually its A LOT easier to come in and be effective in a defensive stance rather than Offense..

cooley is 3rd in TEs in reciving yards... saints paid a 2nd and 5th for shockey in 07

and with a possible lockout most underclassmen will return to school.. doesnt matter bc no TE in the draft is as good as cooley right now..

and the fact that you didnt keep london fletcher shows how stupid you are...
TEs are a dime a dozen, there's been at least 5 to come out of the draft prove to be serviceable the last 3 years

London Fletcher's old a.ss can keep it moving, team needs to get younger but you wanna keep one of the oldest n*ggas in the league...who is the stupid one

lmao @ this n*gga lowkey thinking teams are just handing out draft picks

you think they haven't tried to get a 3rd for Haynesworth before?

no one wanted him for that much

jesus...these fans don't have a clue, that's how Dan Snyder and his puppets are able to pull the wool over your eyes every year

I at least know they suck and it's no hope without a major purge...ya'll n*ggas still hanging on to pipe dreams talking about trading the only good players you have for draft picks that only a retard like Snyder would give you...and at last check there aren't many GMs out there as dumb as Cerrato and Dan were together

and then you're giving up your best players for players that could turn out to be busts

Lol wow it's not even playoffs yet . Yall are crazy, lol @ being a GM

It's funny, just yesterday Deangelo Hall himself questioned the talent on his roster . Poor running game...Poor defense...a bunch of undrafted free agents and late round picks on offense, Skins fans should actually be questioning Shanahan's decision making too. At one point Joey Galloway was the # 2 receiver and Brandon Banks didn't make the roster

Lmao hop on extremeskins and everybody got their 10 step plan. s**t always includes trading players for picks, which usually never happens in the first place. Those plans are the epitome of reaching

I would have faith in our team to be stronger for next year, but Bruce Allen is a questionable talent evaluator and almost took down the bucs with his moves.

First two things we gotta address is the o-linemen and get a new d-coordinator

if you let these forum GMs tell it, they could go get Tom Brady and Wes Welker as a tandem for 2 first rounders and a 3rd

im guessing you weren't listening when jeff fisher said they would've gave a 2nd for Haynseworth but the redskins weren't trading him..

and about your London Fletcher thing.. yea hes old.. dude is also always in the top 5 in tackling and the captain of the defense... why not get a f**king backup to him and let him teach him.. say Upshaw or Hightower out of bama when they come out.. f**king idiot.

London Fletcher is a nice guy, but he is not going to help us win in the future

he is not pertinent to the future...save all that sentimental s**t for baseball...you have coaches for coaching up Linebackers, no need to pay him to be around as an on field coach if he's not going to help you down the road

I've been 100% right about everything I've ever said about the Skins on here...I know more about the team than anyone

he won a title with the bucs... and hes not the one that ultimately picks the players.. lets take a look at shannys last few drafts..

2008

Round 1 - Ryan Clady (one of the better tackles in the LG)
Round 2 - Eddie Royal (solid reciever)
Round 4 - Kory Lichtensteiger (backup Center for the redskins and has played well when called upon)
Round 4 - Jack Williams (think he plays for lions)
Round 5 - Ryan Torain (ran good for us when called upon)
Round 5 - Carlton Powell
Round 6 - Spencer Larsen
Round 7 - Josh Barrett
Round 7 - Peyton Hillis (how is that working out)

2006

Round 1 - Jay Cutler
Round 2 - Tony Scheffler
Round 3 - Brandon Marshall
Round 4 - Elvis Dumervil
Round 4 - Domenik Hixon
Round 5 - Chris Kuper
Round 6 - Greg Eslinger
Undrafted pick up - Mike Bell

DID YOU NOT HEAR FISHER SAY THEY WOULD HAVE TAKEN HAYNSEWORTH BUT WE DIDN'T WANT TO TRADE HIM?

let me correct myself it was a 4th pick..

fletcher is 35 yea... hasnt missed a game in like 100 something games.. AND hes STILL top 10 in tackles.. guy is a animial and im sure we could get enough production out of him for the next 2 years to be able to get a new guy in here to learn under him for at least 1 year..

Seymour was moved for a top price...

Moss was traded for like a what 3rd rounder? last year of contract...complete cancer...had how many catches TDS this year?

yet Cooley... top 3 in TEs in yards receiving..

and Albert who i think we can get a 3rd and 4th for depending on the teams...

as for the other trades i proposed i dont see them as being as far fetched as you think.. giving up a top ten pick for a future 1st and 2nd.. has it been done b4? i think so..

giving up literally a top 38 pick for a top 32 pick in the following year draft? can it be done... im pretty damn sure it can be done..

Dog lets be real. As good as your plan runs, you cant expect our front office to be smart enough to pull that s**t off. I would love to have mad draft picks, but half our picks dont standout anyways

My n*gga, you have more keepers than me! Landry, Orakpo, Banks, Williams, Hall, and maybe Alexander and Fletcher. Fletch is that n*gga but he deserves to finish his career with a better opportunity to win.

I'd trade Cooley for a pick as unpopular as that would be, but he's the only tradeable a.sset on the roster and even he has looked slower than usual this year. They messed up by keeping Carter and Haynesworth, I'm sure some team would have at least given a 5th for AC, dude had 11 sacks in the 4-3 last year. But his, Moss, and many other values have plummeted after this season.

I'm cool with gutting the roster completely, my boys were talkin about how the Chiefs are basically the SEC all star team with Berry, McCluster, Bowe, Arenas, Dorsey, Pope and a host of others. Look at how quickly they have been able to rebuild. But Scott Pioli is a LEGIT GM and I'm iffy on Bruce Allen and don't trust Shanny with personnel decisions in the slightest with his debacles so far in this regime. Only moves I like so far are Williams and Banks.

If we would've ran a 4-3 Carter would probably still be doing good. It's to much to think about with the skinz though

Skins need a big receiver or two, a good young backer, and get Torrain healthy. Mcnabb for me has done half way decent. The receivers once again prove to be the weak link. Until the franchise opens their eyes and realize big possession receivers is where its at, they will be no better than 8-8. Keep Armstrong and Moss for downfield threats but bring in an AJ Green or Jeffrey from South Car.
