he won 14 games as a rookie and won the superbowl the next year...when could people call him a scrub
He was riding a great defense and great running game, he was game manager. Same could be said about Flacco right now. I'm not trying say Ben was a scrub in first couple of years, but he wasn't no superstar QB neither at the time. Flacco is far from a scrub though 21 TD to 12 Int with over 3000 yards passing his second year.

Dude can flat out ball. I hate dude, and he's a d*ck around town, but he's the truth on the field.

Damn near everyone I talk to here wants him gone. It wouldn't surprise me either way. It would be a huge mistake though. He's top five easily and there hasn't been a superbowl winning QB here since Bradshaw 30 years ago. Even if you give them O'Donnell that was 15 years ago.

Worthlessberger will be exposed whether he's traded or not since he no longer has santonio Holmes to bail him out. Throw him in the black hole where he belongs and see his true value. We'll be sticking a fork in him in 2-3 years.

If he gets traded to a team without an above average running game and defense he will struggle. I hope the Steelers do get a rookie Qb though so that the Ravens can injure that nicca.

if they do trade him that will probably be top ten dumbest move in nfl history. there are only 2 active qb's that have more than one sb ring. that's ben and tom brady. trading big ben should not even be on their minds

Lmao people really underrating Big Bens skills on the field. Treating him like a stopgap rental like a jeff garcia

Bottomline, Big Ben is a elite talent at the most valuable position and could play another 10 years if he stays outta trouble. Market for a player like this is def. a top 1st rounder plus other picks
Probably the most intelligent thing I've read on BX in weeks. The dude has crazy talent for making plays. People on here talking like a 3rd is enough for the guy because he's gonna miss 6 games this season(probably reduced to 3-4). What about the next 5-6 season he plays with that franchise? This isn't a single season fantasy redraft league. It's called a franchise for a reason. Unless Pittsburgh just wants to flat out dump his a.ss, it's going to take at the minimum of 2 1st round picks to even begin to pry this dude loose from the Steelers. I would venture to say it would take 2 1sts and another young(ish) QB.

You really gonna sit here and tell me Big Ben isnt a franchise QB??

Dog please, dude got 2 rings and his stats back it up. Also, if you watch the games, o-line is average and Ben makes plays on his own plenty of times with his feet and mobility

And that one big throw can affect a career, ask Eli Manning. Had his one big play and got a ring to show for it
there is a difference between a good QB and a franchise QB you know that right? A franchise QB is someone that you can build a team around and Ben is not that type of QB. You can argue all you want but everyone knows that it was the defense that won those two superbowls for the steelers

name one quarterback that has 2 rings that wasnt a franchise quarterback...dont worry ill wait
people gonna act like big ben didnt play horrible in that first superbowl win right

Acting like he doesnt have 12 interceptions in postseason play which is only three less than the amount of TDs.
