To be honest, this looks quite outdated. If they were to do a recount of the record sales today, it would probably be 2-3x as more than what's been reported here.

You have about 15-20 other usernames hating on 2Pac. It's quite old now and it's quite obvious what you're doing. All this shows is that you're pathetic to devoting so much time hating on a deceased MC.

As you can tell with the other "Chart/Sales" posts that I'm posting, I'm using vast research to make these articles...my research is pulled directly from these resources...

(Neilsen soundscan website)

Riaa is the organization that coordinates & enforces sales data...and awards plaques. They are currently updated monthly...so the sales data are correct and current up to March 2010. Regardless what a rapper "claims" (and often lies about), RIAA has the final proof by "certifications" of sales counts. When I have time, I'll be sure to update with the dates of certifications.

Curious where you heard/read that from....

...I use them for my own music and publishing, and doing subject reports weekly for artists I advise in my database as well, and they are pretty accurate, month to month. Remember, chart "certifications" only come when 1,000,000 units are moved, so if it takes 2 years for a cd to sell a million units, then obviously a certification isn't gonna be updated for 2 years. But they are really effective month to month. Example - Sade's new cd "Soldier of Love" sold 502,000 first week. And by the end of March, they already had the certification posted in their database. So they are pretty reliable man.

***The only area where they aren't accurate is "overseas sales", respectfully because they only research domestic commerce.

I've heard that RIAA stops issuing certifications after a specific amount of time has passed since they last issued one.
