Hahahah! yea i was planning to say somethin like that. None of the early reviews besides IGN's that ive seen so far have said this movie is good. I just saw a review of it on "at the movies" on fox and they pretty much said the same s**t in this article. im gonna see it anyway cause my gurl is super hyped for it, but ima be pissed that im spendin damn near 15 a tix just to go see this s**t in 3D that may not be good. ah well, we'll see.

Oh, yeah. Batman and Batman Returns are good too, but I'd rather see him step away from popular adaptations for awhile and do things a little less mainstream than the other three mentioned.
I agree, he just doesn't have what it takes to be honest, lazy a.ss director who could have been great.

Pretty sure this is gonna be the same film is Charlie And The Chocolate Factory, just repackaged and with a new distributor.

And ive never even seen CatCF. Alice is a story i will always be interested in, unlike CatCF, but..........ill have to give it a big ole meh because nothing appeals to me besides the visuals. im pretty sure this is for the middle america mainstream crowd, and im so bored with those type of films right now.....

Sitting with a 71% on RT right now, but I want to slap at least half of the reviewers on RT anyway so take what you want.

one review doesn't make it horrible... it looks like it'd be a box office hit either way

There is one thing that is making me wanna see this...

The possibility that the trailer for Tron: Legacy will be attached.

That trailer will probably be online before it's shown at the theater.

I was thinking about going to the 2:35 am showing on Friday and I have to work the same day at 6. For some reason unless that reason is that it's sold out the IMAX over my way is showing it at that time. But the regular 3D and without 3D and Brooklyn's Finest tickets are available for 12:01. I've never seen a theater before show a movie that late because the 12:01 showing was sold out

I'm not crazy about his "Batman,"

Stopped caring about his opinion right there.......Burtons Batman was awesome......its more of a comic book style Batman then Nolan's but its still great in its own right.

I think, either way, people will be satisfied. If not by the movie itself, then the visuals (3D, of course). That s**t looks like an acid trip without the drugs.

i don't care what you guys think, tim burton is a GREAT director. with classic films like batman, ed wood, edward scissorhands, beetlejuice, corpse bride and big fish, 95% of hollywood doesn't have a resume that comes even close to that. and i agree he's directed some duds but the majority of his films are well done IMO.

95% really? He only has 3 widely acknowledged great films and two are borderline great. No classics and a ton of weak movies, Beetlejuice and Batman are nothing to rave about.
