Bulls offense would be a.ssist friendly if they had players who could shoot and finish, dumbass.

Derrick Rose rookie year a.ssist percentage: 28.8%
2nd year a.ssist percentage: 29.3%

Evans: 25.0
Curry: 22.4

But...but...Rose doesn't have point guard skills like Evans and Curry do. Keep the lies coming. :jay:

You've been telling me this whole thread that Evans and Curry have more PG skills than Rose, even though they don't.

I never claim that Rose is a 20/10 pg, but he could easily get more if he had players that fit.

All of this is avoiding the fact that even with 6 a.ssists per game, Rose is one of the top point guards in the league.
you lost fam

n*gga brought up a.ssist %...kyle lowrys is 28.8 billups 29 these dudes are the same level of point guard

There's really no point in argueing with people who don't watch the games Chi-City.They don't understand the game, they just look at boxscores and thats it. That is the whole premise of their basketball discussions. Not team chemistry, not offensive sets, not what the player is asked to do, nothing.

They are strictly boxscore, none of these n*ggas have league pass. The only time they are able to watch league games are if it comes on ESPN or TNT. So why argue with someone with limited knowledge and absolutely does not watch the entire league.

25 6 5 on 56%FG shooting when his main role on this team is too score first, and pass second. If he's not looking to score first we don't win no more than 25 games. His role is different from Westbrooks,Curry's, and Jennings. Rose is our best scorer who happens to be a PG, so his a.ssist number will suffer.

Then when you add the fact that he doesn't have court vision like CP3,Deron,Kidd or Nash, it's going to suffer alot. Until he gets a scorer on his team who can lighten the load on a consistent basis, and knock down a 3ball his a.ssist totals will never reach much higher than what they are. Because he's going to be asked to do too much.

Ever player in the NBA who scores as much as Rose does in the paint is surrounded by shooters. LeBron for instance has Gibson,West and Mo Williams. Curry has Anthony Morrow and C.J Watson. Wesbrook has the future scoring leader in the NBA.

Only Jennings you can say doesn't have much which is why his a.ssist numbers are pretty low. It's all about your supporting cast and players who actually compliment your game, more so than it has to do with individual talent.

I agree with this, and it's very hard to be a 20/10 player period. Only CP3 has done this out of all the elite gaurds playing today. Deron has never done it, Nash has never done it and J. Kidd has never done it. Isiah and Magic only have done it 3 times.

Simply put, 20/10 is an over used arguement to try and discredit Rose when it's already a hard feat that so little people have accomplished as is..

I think Rose could be a 25ppg 8ast and 5reb guy though. And thats MVP worthy depending on the team record.

This s**t is getting ridiculous. You can tell by the people saying that Pargo should be helping Rose. Yall n*ggas ain't watching games.

Anyone who watched that game last night knows Pargo shot the Bulls out of the game and was going ISO the entire night. It got to the point where Rose had to either get to the line (12 ft attempts) or make a shot (9-14). He made plays for others, but they are not good offensive players and can't convert.
yo,smart guy.u live in chicago,of course we cant watch as many games as you

Well Im glad you can agree with that but I got a question brodie. If Derrick Rose is a PG and cant make it to be a 20/10 player, then how is he going to be considered one of the best of all-time. You said he has potential to be one of the all-time greats?

Jason Kidd and Nash arent considered some of the best players of all-time, so if Rose wants to be in that class, he's going to have to OUTDO their numbers and I dont see that happening.

I don't think you have to exactly average 10 a.ssist per game to be considered one of the all-time greats. He's a score first gaurd, that lacks the third eye that Deron,Nash and Paul seem to have. But he can be great at what he does, and what he brings to the game to make him an alltime great. He doesn't have to follow the same scripted path of being a double digit a.ssist guy. I can only recall one player averaging 25ppg and 8 a.ssist and 5reb throughout a season. He can blaze his own trail, and set his own trend. Like Magic said after the first Playoff game against Boston. Rose isn't a traditional PG, he's a "trendsetting" PG who can revolutionize that position based on what he's capable of doing and his scoring output and his willingness to pass.

You don't think a guy would be considered one of the all-time greats if he dropped 24-25ppg 8ast and 5reb, with a Championship ring(if he wins one)? Gary Payton was considered the best PG in the 90's by many people and never put up 20 and 10 once.. He's a future Hall of Famer and also put up 25ppg 8ast and 5reb one time. I think Rose could do that more than once and has the potential to be better than him offensively if he actually had some complimentary pieces.

I think I'm good enough to predict who will win or not, but in terms of covering point spreads, I'd probably f**k up. Plus i dont know much about sports gambling..

Would you bet against your team if you knew they was a really good chance they wouldn't cover or lose? How about totals do you think can be good at these from watching your team?

If you aren't a homer and since i can't follow all 30 teams, hit me up on PM if you know your team well and can show a solid profit through out the season I'll hook you up with a % of the winnings.

Seems like Hold That is just gonna ignore that post I made on the 9th page. Derrick Rose woulda caught it I dont see why he couldn't

and in response to the Durant help ofcourse Durant is better than anything the Bulls have. But last year without Durant Westbrook still managed to average about 6 a.ssists or near to what he averaged all together last year. Team went 5-2 without Durant during that stretch. best player he had to work with was Jeff Green. Hinrich, Noah, Deng, Brad Miler>Jeff Green, and whatever Westbrook was workin with without Durant during that stretch. and I know u dont wanna bring up that team Rose was workin with last year with Gordon and Salmons. U actin like Westbrook is a scrub which is funny to me and like Rose has proven himself.

I bolded it and highlighted the important words to. :applause:
