eminem came into the game basically @ 30... wayne came in at 16... of course its going to be hard to compare their music from a lyrical standpoint.. wayne isnt even 30 yet

i think wayne has done an outstanding job for someone starting on an independent label at 16..
At the rate that lyricism is declining, you actually think he's going to improve?

Eminem was like 24 when he released Infinite? That's s**t is better than Lil Wayne's entire recording discography.

See, I know it's hard for you guys to understand, we are not talking about success (ever if we were, we would win), if you want to talk about "making the club go crazy", "hood s**t", "cars", and that other bulls**t, go talk with the idiots who actually like it. This is a Hip-Hop message board where we celebrate lyricism.

eminem is just a psycho on that album... it was just shock value..

and for the record, EMINEM DROPED SSLP @ 27.. the age lil wayne is NOW
Considering he was a 26 year old skinny Cartman on TMMLP and it wasnt til 2003 he was pushin 30 leads me to believe you are talking s**t.Its not like he wasnt making music at that stage he just could not get signed.

Two of my favorite artists. Eminem is still #1. They both will end their careers as top 10 rappers of all time.

I would luv to hear them work together more.

and wayne got signed at 15-16.. stop making excuses
Im not making excuses, i dont care if he had to work the underground circuit to get a deal cause it probably made him better. It doesnt matter when he started cause no rapper will ever sell more than him.

Soulja boy was young when he got signed, who gives a f**k?

Its probably a shame bubble gum rappers get signed before lyrical MCs.Took 3 years after songs like this to get signed, something Wayne will never ever get near lyrically.

Ayo, my pen and paper cause a chain reaction
To get your brain relaxin, cause they be actin maniac in action
A brainiac in fact son, you mainly lack attraction
You look insanely whack with just a fraction of my tracks run
My rhyming skills got you climbing hills
I travel through your mind into your spine like siren drills
I'm sliming grills of roaches, we sprayed and disinfects
and twist the necks of rappers till their spinal column disconnects
We disinfect then check the monologue, turn your system up
Twist them up, and indulge in the marijuana smog
This is the season for noise pollution contamination
Examination of more cartoons than animation
My lamination of narration
Hit's a snare and bass in a track f**ked up rapper interrogation
When I declare invasion, there ain't no time to be stare and gazing
I turn the stage into a barren wasteland...
I'm Infinite

Chorus:
You heard of hell well I was sent from it
I went to it serving a sentence for murdering instruments
Now I'm trying to repent from it
But when I hear the beat I'm tempted to make another attempt at it...
I'm Infinite

Verse 2:
Bust it, I let the beat commence so I can beat the sense in your elite defense
I got some meat to mince, a crew to stomp, and then two feet to rinse
I greet the gents and ladies, I spoil loyal fans
I foil plans and leave fluids leaking like oil bands
My coil hands around this microphone are lethal
One thought in my cerebral is deeper then a Jeep full of people
MC's are feeble, I came to cause some pandemonium
Battle a band of phony MC's and stand the only one
Imitator, Intimidator, Stimulator, Simulator of data, Eliminator
There's never been a greater since the burial of Jesus
f**k around and catch all of the venereal diseases
My thesis will smash a stereo to pieces
My accapella releases plastic masterpieces through telekinesis
And eases you mentally, gently, sentimentally, instrumentally
With entity, dementedly meant to be Infinite

Chorus:
You heard of hell well I was sent from it
I went to it serving a sentence for murdering instruments
Now I'm trying to repent from it
But when I hear the beat I'm tempted to make another attempt at it...
I'm Infinite

Verse 3:
Man I got evidence I'm never dense and I been clever ever since
My residence was hesitant to do some s**t that represents the M-O
So I'm a.ssuming all responsibility
Cause there's a monster will in me that always wants to k!ll MC's
Mic messaler, slamming like a wrestler
Here to make a mess of a lyric smuggling embezzler
No one is specialer, My skill is intergalactical
I get cynical act a fool then I send a crew back to school
I never packed a tool or acted cool, it wasn't practical
I'd rather let a tactical, tact full track your fancy
In fact I can't see, or can't imagine
A man who ain't a lover of beats or a fan of scratching
This is for my family, the kid who had a cameo on my last jam
Plus the man who never had a plan B
Be all you can be, cause once you make an instant hit
I'm tensed a bit and tempted when I see the sins my friends commit
I'm infinite

Chorus X2
You heard of hell well I was sent from it
I went to it serving a sentence for murdering instruments
Now I'm trying to repent from it
But when I hear the beat I'm tempted to make another attempt at it...
I'm Infinite

He'll never reach Canibus level; because, he think he's "keeping it real." See, you guys are blind, the rap game changed when rappers figured out, you didn't need skills, the only thing you needed were "the people" on your side.

You're saying he's "improving," but what's the point?

If he's "improving," please tell me what area is he "improving" in. He's definitely not "improving" in the story telling. He not "improving" in political topics.

Seems like you just compared Lil Wayne to a student with a learning disability. He's "improving" in certain areas, but there are rappers out there who are 10x better than him in every area he chooses to rap about.

That's the point you guys don't get, if he's improving, it doesn't matter — he has a long road ahead of him.

POST A STORY TELLING SONG FROM LIL WAYNE, THAT'S WORTH LISTENING TO, AND I'll LEAVE YOU GUYS ALONE.

Remember, story telling consist of dialog and characters, songs like Three Sides of A Story, Children's Stroy — those are stories.

wayne could make comparable verses if he cared to.
No he could not or he would of done it by now or atleast got close.

If he really could get better if he "cared" id advise him to cop the f**k on to himself and start doing it.

^Bubblegum rap is entertaining? Its corny cheesy s**t and its the opposite of entertaining.

There's a thin line between bubblegum rap and hardcore rap. If he's not making bubblegum rap, he's definitely not making any hardcore underground raps, Canibus fans can listen to.

There is no in-between, you're commercial, or underground. Eminem can play both sides, Lil Wayne can't.

em came out rappin bout stuff that would make him sell albums. all that crazy s**t he was rhymin bout was the only angle he could come with and be successful. if u all noticed, as soon as he started to go hardcore and start name droppin REAL names(not jessica simpson, brittany, ect) his album sells went down. i dont know any black rappers(outside of teck 9ne or someone of that caliber) who would sell albums talkin bout raping their own mother! most street n*ggaz i know dont even take em serious. EVERYBODY knows he can rap but do u actually feel him? and dont forget people....wayne swagg and delivery is just too much for em rite now. years ago em would have murdered him but boy has times changed.

Where art thou Canibus? Yeah, this is Eminem dissing Canibus cause hes underground and didnt blow up, theres only a few people who want to listen to people spending a month writing each track on some $5 beat.

you hate bubble gum music, but most of eminem's discography is bubblegum, or the the bubblegum on your shoe type of music... sure its lyrical but its still trash most of the time (i.e. encore)

wayne and eminem usually come out with silly singles.. get over it
So he is a shock rapper, a lyical rapper and a bubblegum rapper all rolled into one?

There is a reason Encore is his least liked album because because some of the songs were poppy and his fans dont like that stuff.

all this k!lling kim and his mother and raping _____ is all shock value

his 1st singles are 100% bubble gum

eminem show, encore, and d12 world were bubblegum albums for the most part...

eminem is one of the most lyrical rappers in thegame
Get the f**k with your bollocks talk,The Eminem show is the best album ever if it was bubble gum rap i would not feel that way(trust me).His 1st singles are unique to him definitely not bubblegum rap either its just something he does to separate himself from the pack and the songs are usually as lyrical as f**k.

Something like smack that is bubblegum rap not songs bashing celebrities with multi syllable rhymes.
