First off, I don't wanna hear the ridicule from "BodyBuilder" cats clearly this isn't for ya'll or for that kind of extreme workout...

Secondly, my question is... I've been told to go with the first option versus the Tower200 due to basically the same effectiveness but also for being alot cheaper.

The pro's n cons i see is basically, the Tower 200 is a more grounded setup and wont destroy your door and the Bodylastics apparently can eventually mess with the doors cosmetics overtime.....

Discuss?

I have the bodylastics.

Used to do it a lot before going back to lifting.

Resistance is great. You do get strong and all that. But, at the same time you can't really put on size with that imo. I have a friend that recommended it to me who quit lifting for that and swears up and down about gains. But dudes been built like he is cuz he lifted for so long before it.

I didn't try the other one, tho. So can't tell you which is better.

Nothing wrong with resistance training, I used bands everyday when I was in high school for sports. Different tools for different goals. When I used bands and door straps, I wasn't trying to get any bigger, I was trying to increase flexibility and strengthen my shoulders and knees after injury.

I don't know anything about either one, but the first link seems more reasonable and more like the regular bands you get at the sporting goods store. The second one looks kind of gimmicky but I've never tried it, so I can't speak on it. Off of first glance, I'd get #1.

So... no way to get cut from this? Im not expecting weight lifter results but what results can you expect, won't tone n cut you up, no matter how hard u go?

Im just trynna find a solution for not wanting to get a gym membership or having room for weight sets.

I can prolly get to my boys crib/gym once twice a week if that but i figured this may be effective inbetween?

You can get tone. I just don't think you'll really put on any size.

being "cut" to me means losing body fat.

So if you want to do that, then yes, you can get "cut"....

But dont expect to gain any serious muscle mass using bands...

The bodylastics system is built alot better from what Iv'e been reading and seeing. Actually someone compared the two (they use both) n they prefer the Bodylastics system. Also the handles are much bigger and versatile to use in movement for diff workouts than the p90's besides you can add resistance as u like to the Bodylastics and it has a lifetime warrantee.

they both look the same and have about the same amount of resistance, but your right about the lifetime warranty. Thats the one thing that has me leaning towards the bodylastics, just didnt feel like paying 60 bucks for it. If its worth it then i just might have to tho

Theres a difference man....
disregard the non charismatic Joe Schmoe guy doing the review but he gives a good honest review and compares the p90 system to the Bodylastics...

PS u can get 400pds of resistance from the P90x?

p90 comaprison at around 2:43

got bodylastics and the x-factor. The x factor has some decent resistance (not great) bodylastics you can get more, it's all about doing it right imo. plus a mean pushup routine would definitely help.
