If you were from round these cat's hood's or knew dudes that knew these fellas, did they really dabble in that whitney houston?, that cake mix? that nike sign? that skull on the punisher's shirt? that tampon? that snowman? that jack frost? that golf ball?

Well being from the Tristate area, the general consensus here is that the only rapper from the East who's story is not fabricated is no one. A rappers writing process is 10% personal and 80% affiliation or reflection. I'm not saying this is the case with every rapper but theres probably less than 1% of rappers who have not inflated their life story.

I can't believe you f**ks believe this s**t.
Some of them maybe pushed a few grams, but let's keep it real.

1# anyone who moved a lot of weight would NEVER say it
2# anyone who moved a lot of weight would NEVER start rapping, he'd be rich already, rapping is not the money laundering business.
3# ya'll f**kin' stupid, pretending to KNOW whos who in the drug gameh haha

On a serious note though:
Do ya'll think Eminem is secretly a serial k!ller? I mean, maybe that's why he was away from the game for 4 years and when he came back only rap about serial k!lling?

Okok, your still not getting the point.
What sort of cracksmoking CEO would sign rappers who moved a lot of weight?
To get a investigation going on their label and take himself down?
Come the f**k on.

Do dirty money exist as starting capital of some labels?
Sure...
Do they sign rappers who moved weight? no.

The only n*gga who I know rap what he lives, is MAC, made a few threads about him, but he's more of a drug lord who raps, not a rapper who raps about drugs.

if you want some real street s**t, this is it. He done put his murders, shootings, etc in his songs.

...Why Must The CEO Be Smoking On Crack? Now I Cant Take Your Point Serious.

Alot Of These Labels Was Built On Drug Money Like Melody Said and That Is Well True. Look At No Limit,We Know Drugs Help Build That Label.

If Am Sitting On Dope Money and Use That Dope Money To Start A Label and Am Out Of The Dope Game Will Not Have A Investigation On Me,Only If Am Still In It The Dope Game and Using The Label As Front But These Rappers Is Out The Game...Well Some Of Them,They Can Rap About There Old Life and If You Listen & Know The Dop Game Then Your Know The Real From The Fake.

I interned at an A&R department this past summer. Its funny that you guys are eating up these hustler stories when in reality there is a white guy working with the artists management team to concoct the persona your eating up . I wish yall could see how hands on these labels are with this so called trap music. I have witnessed these preppy a.ss black girls write lyrics to be submitted to artists such as Clipse and Jeezy... y'all need to wake up.

#1 99% of labels sign authentic artist. meaning they better have lived the life they talk about or at least have some insight because the consumer will pick up on the bulls**t.

#2 any smart drug dealer knows that s**t doesn't last forever and wants to go legit and be able to floss. the rap game is the easy short cut to all that.

how old are you seriously?
