Jamie Foxx: "Kobe Bryant is a great scorer but not a great player"

He's the best scorer in the NBA, but is he the best player? player meaning does he make the whole team better, nobody wants to play with him, and when you do play with him he wants to be the star.

this was from last year....but do you still think these claims are true?

That's funny cuz the ONLY reason Jamie Foxx won an Academy Award was cuz he could do a good Ray Charles impression.

yea because anyone who disagrees with you is an idiot right?

Kobe has b**ched and cried to get his way out of LA people seem to forget about that he was gonna leave if he didn't get his way. On top of that he b**ches and cried to get one of the best big men of all time to leave his team then cries he doesn't have help

doesn't really sound like a great player, sounds more like a child who needs to get his way

Got damn that second dude sonned the s**t outta Jaimie on his own show!

Jaimie: "I could score 81 against the Raptors"

Dude: "You couldn't make the All-Star team at your local YMCA, you need to cut that s**t out"

Nobody wants to play with him? Really?

-Ron Artest says different
-Pau Gasol says different
-Trevor Ariza says different
The list could go on and on

Theres so much ridiculousness in that video from the Kobe haters. Jaimie gets sonned and then goes "well umm umm he's on the all r*pe team LAWLZ!"

I dunno about Kobe personally. He the type of n*gga that will go out of his way to make sure his s**t don't stink...

He works well with those younger than him, but anyone his age or older, it's gonna be problems if you're a superstar.

there isn't a player in the league that facilitates, is a vocal leader, puts a lot of energy on both sides of the floor, and demands the ball in game-winning situations and delivers like Kobe does.

if this was immature pre-2007 Kobe then Jamie would have a point but his "point" holds no weight now.

Maybe if he said hes not as great of a player as another guy or 2 in the NBA that people always discuss then id get him. He sounds foolish with his spray on forehead. 45 wins and carrying your team to the playoffs with Smush Parker and Kwame is enough to be considered a great player.

I think any superstar wants the ball all the time but fail to realize its 10 players on the court you have to have good role players to win championships MJ and Kobe both went through this you can't win it by yourself.

different story,
1 danny ainge traded away all the veterans and they had 1st 2nd and 3rd years players on the team except for pierce,
2 pierce didn't demand they trade away their second best scoring option,

Kobe was not on a bum team like pierce was they actually had alot more talent than the Celtics had,
