Rolling Stone 10 Best Movies of the Decade

1. There Will Be Blood
2. Children of Men
3. Mulholland Drive
4. A History of Violence
5. No Country for Old Men
6. The Incredibles
7. Brokeback Mountain
8. The Departed
9. Mystic River
10. The Lord of the Rings Trilogy

Decent list by Peter Travers, although the only movies I think that really belong in the top 10 are There Will Be Blood, The Departed, Mystic River, LOTR, and maybe No Country for Old Men. The rest are all good movies too, but probably wouldn't be in my top 10. City of God and k!ll Bill are missing.

I still to this day think that No Country dropped the ball with that ending. They ruined a completely flawless movie with some bullsh*t ending.

There Will Be Blood is a slow movie, but there was never a point at all in watching it that I lost interest. it's just incredible all the way through.

Yeah I was pretty upset when No Country beat out There Will Be Blood for best picture and director. I'm hoping that Paul Thomas Anderson comes back with something just as good for his next movie. He's definately one of my favorite modern directors with that, Boogie Nights, Magnolia, and Punch Drunk Love.

I know some people that didn't like it because it wasn't violent enough and short, which is stupid.

Ok list... And gets credit for naming "There Will Be Blood" #1 and "Children of Men" #2... But it's missing way too many films that are much better than some listed(History of Violence, Mullholland, Incredibles, Brokeback, Mystic).

Films that should definitely be on the list:

"Memento"
"Zodiac"
"The Dark Knight"

Maybe even "Gladiator" or "Casino Royale"...
