Damon, should shoot himself or his agent now. Decent pickup by the Yankees with Winn. Professional bat and stays healthy (149+ games every year since '02)

I like the Winn signing. Cashman and Co. held firm and didn't cave in to BorAss/Damon. It pushes Gardner back to a 4th OF'er role which he's more suited for. Winn is a major upgrade over Damon in LF and much won't be expected of him batting 9th.

Exactly, I laugh at those who think our lineup is somehow inferior now that we made changes. Still got Tex and A-Rod and we still have 50+ Hr's in the 7 & 8 spot combined. Granderson will be a nice upgrade for Melky/Damon.

Reds sign SS Orlando Cabrera.

1 yr/3 mil. with an option for the 2nd year (not sure if it's a player or team option)

Great move for my Reds. Been a loooooooong time since I've been confident in a SS or 2-hole hitter in our lineup.

Excellent point....Granderson and Nick negates what we lost in Melky and Damon.....Winn is good money and should see a lot of opportunities to score runs and increase jeters opportunities at rbi's

but easily better than any lineup that Boston can put out next year.

Tex + Healthy A-rod > anyone the Red Sox have to offer, and you know this!

Not that I couldnt live with 5th best but, serioulsy though, name the 4 or 5 who are better?

Mariners also re-signed Erik Bedard, who if healthy, can solidify the best 1-2-3 in the league.

I like the Twins signing of Orlando Hudson as well. Perfect fit for that team.

Just from having that loser Erik Bedard on my fantasy team the last two years, he is the modern day Mike Hampton. He cannot stay healthy to save his life, trust me you shouldn't count on this guy at all.

Its a minor league deal, not bad. The guy can mash lefties and probably spell Nick Johnson at DH against a tough lefty. He can play LF (although he sucks defensively). If he makes the team, atleast we got some options coming off the bench now.
