I went back and listened to Reasonable Doubt and I really did miss what it was so good about it. I like it and it is my favorite Jay-Z album now...

Ready To Die by Notorious BIG

You already know how I feel about Ready To Die, it is the most overrated album in Hip Hop and Biggie is the most overrated rapper, Reasonable Doubt >>>> Ready To Die...

No opinion is fact so leave the bulls**t out of this thread... As in overall album, which do YOU prefer?

ready to die

As far as Biggie bein overrated I'ma say nah, I think Life after death is an overrated album though. Ready to die is a classic album cause you can feel the essence of strugglin, everything from the hopelessness to the ignorance to the pain. Yo jus my 2 cents I felt Ready to die more

Not really, Biggie is often called the Greatest Of All Time with only 2 albums under his belt, both of which deal with the same exact content...

2pac had 4 solid albums in a row, and still is releasing classic songs after death ie Thugz Mansion, Better Dayz, Until The End Of Time, Unconditional Love, Troublesome 96, Still I Rise, if anybody is a perfect candidate for the rap GOAT title, it is definately 2pac... You can say he's overrated, everyone who is held in such high regard usually is overrated to a point... But 2pac definately is, if not the greatest, than one of the greatest rappers of all time...

We can use a Michael Jackson comparison... Was Michael Jackson the greatest singer? of course not, there are many who are more skilled singers. Was 2pac the greatest rapper? Of course not, there many who are more skillfull rappers. But in end, are either of them regarded as the best singer or rapper? No... They're both highly revered for their impact and the many people around the world that they touched with their music on a personal level (No MJ pedo jokes you f**knuts)...

Keep Ya Head Up is alone >>>> Most rapper's catalogues

As far as Biggie bein overrated I'ma say nah, I think Life after death is an overrated album though. Ready to die is a classic album cause you can feel the essence of strugglin, everything from the hopelessness to the ignorance to the pain. Yo jus my 2 cents I felt Ready to die more
Not really, well not to me anyway. Me Against The World does a much better job of getting across the strugglin, hopelessness, pain and ignorance than RTD does... I really don't see how you got to such a conclusion about this album. The only songs that directly deal with those issue without glorifying them are probably Everyday Struggles, Suicidal Thoughts & Juicy... The rest all talks about bulls**t.... abeit entertaining to listen at some points, but it has no lasting appeal, not to me anyway...
