this album is dope as hell...first complete doom album that i've liked as a whole..usually i like a few tracks here, and there...but this album is great...the production is insane, and doom murdered it...especially on "that's that"...batty boyz is great....and cellz is so hard...i'm actually gonna support this album....this will get plenty of burn from me..
i almost think it's impossible not to like the entire operation doomsday lol

^^^ criteria would be simple - either u enjoy it or u dont

i aint claimin i speak the universal truth , thats just my opinion
But I mean you have to be basing your enjoyment on something. I'm not trying to talk into into liking this album or anything, but it's helpful to name some reasons or arguments in a discussion.

the beat on Supervillanz is fu*king NUTS. Makes me wanna go outside and get drunk and start running down the street and yelling at people and then shaking them asking if they "understand".

Doom loves that drum kit tho :lachen001: he used it on that Angelz track too

ok, first of all i kinda missed the point where we were arguing, was sure u just asked a question...

didnt like the flow of the songs, its like the beats were good but the lyrics just had nothing to do with the beats, tried a few songs over and over again but just couldnt get hooked on it felt as if my brain was being r*ped....

never really listened to doom, heard a few joints back in 99, dudes been around for a long time so i gave it a try... didnt feel him, thats all

IMO it isnt such a great CD, however i dont expect everyone to have the same taste otherwise the music world would suck...
wasnt tryin to trash his style or smth but i did spend an hr so i might as well state my opinion...

Horrible album.

I used to love DOOM. But I just cannot stand his wack flow or voice.

This album is sick. I been repeating the first 10 tracks. I haven't even heard the last 6 yet. This is a definitely going in the Amazon basket.

So far i'm feeling MM..Food more than Born Like This. Some of my favorites are "Gazillion Ear", "Absolutely", "Yessir" and "Light Works". Pretty much the first half of the album seems to be better than the last half.

I haven't been checking for new hip hop albums that much so I don't think something better will come this year IMO..

I won't go out on a limb and say it's amazing just yet.

vaughdeville villian or whatever was like mf doom's most underrated album. that whole album was pure flames, but people rarely mentions it. everyone's alway riding with danger doom, mm food, madvilliany, and operationdoomsday as doom's best, but people should throw in the villian album in there too.

'Absolutely' is mind boggling, Dilla created some classic 90's sh*t! Awesome album, want DOOM to feature with The Chef though.
