His back is against the wall

Hes too old to build around & at the same time too old to change up the way he balls.

Iverson is a Shooting Guard who keeps getting traded for pure point guards (Andre Miller & Chauncey Billups) then people wonder why the team is having chemistry issues.

no1 can say allen iverson is too old to play basketball..

hes only 3 years older than kobe bryant.

and his body type alone and his warrior mentality and durabillity will let him play for at least another 4 years IF he wants to

all allen iverson needs is a true point guard so he can play his rightful 2 position and a solid big man. or perhaps let him run the point but have a sick SF like a lebron or carmelo.

i dont think there is gna be a big shift until summer 2010, thats when the NBA is gonna change more than it prolly ever has due to soo many free agents. and the combinations of players on new teams could open up a great spot for AI.

imagine, summer of 2010.. lebron goes to new york with AI following suit signing a smaller contract

:applause:

get that man a ring

lmao at the misconceptions that A.I needs to take all the shots, he can still be one of the best guards in the nba, he just needs to go where there's a good big man and shooters not volume scores like himself. like kobe's situation in L.A, kobe has players that are very efficient and can score with limited shots, he has 3 points shooters, fisher, sasha, rad, then he has big men pau, bynum and they all play around him. A.I would be great with the same situation and if bosh stays with the raps then that would be the perfect fit, they got one of the best bigs in the game in bosh and a bunch of shooters, if bosh stays in Toronto then A.I would average 25+ppg and 7+ a.ssists a game again and they would be contenders in the east

dude is a.ss cheeks. undersized, wack attitude, cant shoot, cant play off the ball, cant play defense, cant run an offense, breaks plays so he can run underneath the basket like a retard, thinks runnin fadeaways are good shots and throws dumb a.ss jumping passes. the only thing he's good at is swingin his arms like a bi*ch and falling on the floor so he can get some FTs. and he barely even gets that anymore

the only people who like iverson are n*ggas who dont watch him play, and other wannabe thugs

AI doesn't need to be taking every shot with the Pistons, but he does need to be more involved.

Last night when the Pistons started to make a little run, it was Stuckey and AI going to the basket. Not a screen for Rip like they do EVERY PLAY it seems like.

He just needs to realize that he will NEVER win a championship...at least as being the old iverson....no team in the history of the nba will win a championship playing 1 on 5.

Might as well retire now....unless he wanna play on the clippers or the thunder or sum shyt and get his 30 shots a game

I dunno how joe dumars thought that pairing Iverson + Rasheed Wallace= championship.......that shyt dun even work on 2k9

Hey, maybe it was a team-building exercise. The Pistons did win the next night, breaking a two-game losing streak.

The Minneapolis Star Tribune's gossip column is reporting that Allen Iverson, Rasheed Wallace "and about six other members of the entourage" were spotted at Shakopee's Canterbury Card Club there at about 11:30 Tuesday, the night before their game against the Timberwolves.

Now, this isn't a big deal: There's a lot of boring down time on the road and no laws were broken. The guys just got a little loud while enjoying some poker and beverages, according to Zach Sussman, president of a Minneapolis marketing and promotions company.

Said Sussman: "Sheed didn't wager, explaining to onlookers, I don't gamble, but he certainly had fun sipping and jabbing at his friends and other players who weren't doing so hot. A.I., on the other hand, had what we call 'rubber band banks' in his pockets -- must have been around $50,000 and he was getting beat up pretty hard at three-card poker."

Again, the Pistons did win the next night, so Iverson didn't leave it all at the table.

"After an hour or so things started getting loud ..." Sussman. said. "After about 10 minutes of this and everyone in the room yelling at them to shut up, the star-struck pit bosses finally went over and asked them to keep it down. The noise subsided and the group left without further incident."

The Star Tribune sought to confirm the Iverson sighting, but Mike Hochman, the club's table games director, said: "I don't know who that is and I'm not sure I could give that information out if I did,. Must be a sports guy. People point them out to me and say 'Hey Michael, that's blah, blah, blah,' "

And the Pistons basically told the paper Iverson had no comment.

we're gonna be the Jailpistons soon. iverson's already in the detroit casinos every night. now he cant even take a break on the road
